First Turkey and Pakistan have growing defense and trade ties.

Second if Russia nuked a Muslim nations Pakistan would along with the most Muslim states would go to war with Russia.

Third China will never back Russia in any meaningful way. Trade with the West is vital and 75% of its oil comes from Saudi Arabia and its OPEC allies. China has backed neither Turkey nor Russia after the shoot down making clear they simply has no role of any sort in it.

Fourth Russia has taken the only actions they can afford to against Turkey. They have no military options nor any real economic ones as trade with Turkey is vital.

Putin is willing to use nuclear weapons on Russia’s “enemy number one,” Turkey, according to one of the nation’s leading politicians, as reported by the Daily Star.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of the misnamed Liberal Democratic party, urged Putin to destroy Turkish capital of Istanbul, killing over nine million people. Zhirinovsky said Turkey was stupid to shoot down a Russian fighter jet on Tuesday, when it violated Turkish airspace.

In no way would Turkey be Russia's enemy number one. Turkey is a small piece of a much larger axis, that led by the US and Western allies.

Russia knows who is its prime enemy... It's not Turkey..
