Better than them running around freaking out and shooting anyone that twitches or has a limp. We all know how poor they can be at threat assessment.

In a way, it's amazing they haven't shot down 30-40 potential suspects.

Just for clarification purposes, they are now figuring out the original scene at the first shooting, something happened to put schools on lockdown, there was a shooting at a nearby discount mall, and someone is injured at another location? I'm having a hard time hearing what is going on.

They are now talking about evacuating a whole building on the scanner. What building is this?

Forgive the question, I appreciate everyone's updates on the current situation.

I heard that on the scanner too. and people are still golfing this is the second time police had to tell the people to stop golfing right next to the crime scene... wow...

I wonder if they're going to instill a curfew now if they don't have these shooters by nightfall...

Yes, how dare he speak about background checks and keeping crazy people away from guns! How dare he wonder why it is that the USA leads the world in gun deaths and massacres like this! How dare he, erm, speak about it!
Has he taken a single gun away? Anywhere at all? No. He's just tried to speak common bloody sense at a time when the NRA apparently wants everyone to be armed to the teeth to stop people from looking at them funny.

That was the discount mall. A tactical person came back to the channel to say they had cleared the building but then he left again.

They are being overly cautions since no one is in custody. Even a report of hearing shots fired will be taken seriously until cleared.
