I really, really think we should be looking at this:

There was a mosque to be built in San Bernardino County; they fought for years to get a permanent location. The permit was finally approved by the county in 2011 but a lawsuit put a stay on the process. The lawsuit was concluded in April of this year and the court found in favor of the plaintiff, because the COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES had failed to do an environmental impact study. They revoked the permit.

Sayed Farooq was an employee of this department. His job? Environmental Health Specialist. Clearly he and his accomplices were prepared ahead of time and this was planned. Maybe, "If they won't give us the go-ahead on this environmental impact report so we can build our mosque, we will kill them."

Just speculating. It would seem to be a perfect motive. And motive is what we have been lacking thus far.

If he was part of ISIS why haven't they claimed it?

They praised it sure, but that is hardly saying it was them.

Him getting in a fight is what gets me, if you have all this planned out, why go in there and draw that much attention?

Maybe this group or cell had this specific attack actually planned for a legit Christmas party, and not this seminar, but when his coworker pissed him off, they decided to conduct this attack today, out of anger.

Its very possible they simply moved the date.

Or

Instead of blaming international terrorism, the fight was played out as to make it look like a simple case of domestic terrorism/workplace violence.

And if this is the case, that this attack was originally planned for a later date, i.e. Christmas, and this is terrorism, I wouldnt be surprised if more coordinated Christmas attacks are planned across the nation. Of course, I hope Im wrong!

As far as terrorism goes, the aim is for the target to be symbolic. 9-11 (US economic center) ..the heart of Paris etc.

Wrong. The point of terrorism is to push an agenda in a violent way. If a group of people start targeting locations that make no sense to attack, then the general populace will start to feel fearful during their normal daily activities.

Paris was an example of attacking normalcy. Cafe's, football stadiums...a center for the developmentally disabled does not qualify. It is not representative of "mainstream" America. It is not "mainstream" it is not politically significant, it is not economically significant. I hold to the belief that the facts do not support terrorist attack. If they had the shooters or attackers to "spend" or "sacrifice" they would have chosen an impactful target...and sure as SH&^ ...as silly as it sounds...someone would have been shouting allue Akbar!...

When the facts are sorted out we can see who was correct.

This also brings up the possibilities that many more were prepared to deploy...I smell search warrants in the near future with many more perps involvement! !!

Keep your eyes peeled for the "list" folks!

Why watch? I don't.

As to the guy's name and differences in spelling ...

They said it was a common name. It likely has different variant spellings, and let's be real, NO ONE bothers with the proofreading or fact checking anymore. I've seen an article about a baby where they had two different names for the kid one in the written article and one in the photo byline. It may be that simple that no one has bothered to check their version for accuracy.

Simple workplace violence does not involve three shooters with body armor and automatic weapons. No matter how the media tried to spin it that way. Sorry. My idea ( a few posts back) has more merit.

The San Bernardino police chief says that they are still trying to determine if there was a third shooter.

www.nbcnews.com...

There are a man and woman who were killed at the site of the SUV shoot out and another man detained whose involvement or lack of it is not determined as of the latest press conference, a minute ago.

It makes your head spin doesn't it?

The layers and layers of doubt, the walls of confusion that we hit every time we even so much as attempt to find a question to ask (and forget about a solution!) Every single aspect of human life is soaked in this dreaded confusion. If you look closely enough at any of it, you are guaranteed to fall straight into madness.

As long as there is a "no," there can never truly be a "yes." Think about that.

NO you cannot kill people, no matter what!
Oh yes I can, and if I do... guess what you're going to do about it?

Yes, you can believe whatever you want and worship the way you want and be free to live how you want.
NO you can't! Because I don't believe in that freedom, and my God wants you to die if you don't believe the way I do.

I am spiraling out, I'll stop.... but you want to know what I think? I think we are fundamentally wrong. As a species. Too smart and too damn STUPID at the SAME TIME.

That's exactly right. Most all of us can avoid going to huge events or special locations to "stay safe". None of us can avoid going to work, going to the grocery store etc.

If you want to spread real terror? This is the way to do it IMO. Keep everyone in fear of doing the things that they have no choice in doing.

A center for the developmentally disabled was NOT the target. It was the group that RENTED the conference room at the facility. Big difference.
