Scientific American seems to disagree with Wiki.

www.scientificamerican.com...

Sediments from six sites across North America—Murray Springs, Ariz.; Bull Creek, Okla.; Gainey, Mich.; Topper, S.C.; Lake Hind, Manitoba; and Chobot, Alberta—yielded such teensy diamonds, which only occur in sediment exposed to extreme temperatures and pressures, such as those from an explosion or impact, according to new research published today in Science.

Oh I don't know which source is more credible... Scientific American, or wiki?

Your scientific American is out of date,

try National Geographic

Comets Didn't Wipe out Sabertooths

news.nationalgeographic.com...
or
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America

Chronological evidence fails to support claim of an isochronous widespread layer of cosmic impact indicators dated to 12,800 years ago

www.pnas.org...
or
Pacific Standard

Comet Theory Comes Crashing to Earth

www.psmag.com...

At first it appeared that the comet theory had a lot going for it, until it was discovered that a lot of the evidence was from the wrong date, sometimes out by tens of thousands of years

It is called today
"the Younger dryas impact hypothesis"
because a hypothesis is an unproven theory.

Again, I will remind you creduloids that this thread is about "King Hezekiah's Seal Discovered in Jerusalem."
If you want to discuss your outdated pet theories, start your own thread and stop hijacking this one

Beat me to the punch!

In addition to all of that, the impression I got was that the poster was implying that the potential comet which was alleged to have induced the Younger Dryas contributed to a worldwide flood if which is entirely fallacious and not even supported by the YD cometary hypothesis. It just seems like a lot of stretching in order to connect dots that don't actually exist. Now, back to the topic at hand...
