Its funny that the right wing fans started making excuses and blaming liberals the minute they heard about the clinic shootings.

Blame everyone else and lie about everything, cant have reality come out of this incident.

Please list ONE excuse anyone made for the murdurer. I'll be waiting.

DO you want to know what the problem is? It's people like YOU who use terms like "right-wing" and "left-wing". You've fallen for the bait and have self-segregated yourself.

You're really missing the point. Or rather, dodging it. Islam contradicts everything Liberals stand for. Yet Liberals defend it to the death. What is really going on? Liberals defend an ideology that stones people to death. Does it deserve repeating? I think it does. Liberals defend an ideology that stones people to death. Say that to yourself over and over if you have to. Liberals defend an ideology that stones people to death.

And for the record. There's no such thing as "extremism" in Islam. It's only extreme to us.

Every #ing religion when taken literally contradicts what a good person would stand for.

But that doesn't matter. What matters is there a good people. There a good Muslims who support gay rights, there a bad muslims who are against gay rights. That exact statement can be used for Christians.

There are Christians who love women being oppressed. There are those that love gender equality. Same can be said for Muslims.

There is bad in every religion, there is good in every religion. It's the people that are bad at the core.

Religion can brainwash people when you have certain types of dumbasses, and each religion has that ammunition to brainwash.

There are muslims fleeing christians in africa. There are buddhists slaughting muslims in south america. There are muslims slaughtering everyone in the middle east.

The anti-islam rhetoric is amusing.

I don't want to reengage in this thread, but wanted to say I appreciate many of the sentiments here from an array of varied religions and political affiliations, and from some people who have neither! Christians have been steadfast in their opinions and at least one poster I know who is a liberal and an atheist to boot has renounced this idea.

It's given me a little smile this morning to see that not everyone is jumping on the Christians are terrorists bandwagon.

You guys are da

No one thinks christians are terrorists. Just as muslims are not terrorists. Just as buddhists are not terrorists.

Every article referring to christians as terrorists is an attack on white america for referring to muslims/middle easterners as terrorists.

Well, everyone can play that game.

It's almost like christians don't understand the point, Instead they want to argue that muslims are terrorists while christians are not.

That isn't the point of any of this.

The #ing point is that no religion or race should be generalized as terrorists. And if one is consistently, it needs to be fought against.

Good Sleuthing, but was deeming the offender a "Christian terrorist" really necessary? Why just not call this man a terrorist and leave it at that?

The last thing we need is spiritual segregation, yes there are radicals within certain religious groups and we should condemn the actions of the few, but typecasting terrorists is only going to reinforce the fear that is already at fever pitch.

Terrorists are Terrorists and giving them a religious denomination only strengthens the rocksteady paranoia.

It seems there are a lot of seething 'liberals' foaming at the mouth, waiting for any incident to give an opprotunity to slam white christians, especially 'right wing' ones, its almost like some sick obsession.

I see it everyday, not just here on ats. Its like millions of Americans would love to see any white conservative, especially white christian conservatives either tried as terrorists or given the death penalty. It's hard to see, with all their hate which one they would prefer. # is going crazy around here latetly.

These are the same people who preach against 'hate' everyday, but have zero capacity to look inside and see their very own incredible hatred toward fellow human beings.

Meanwhile, these same people, many atheists, almost make some type of life goal to defend muslims..when we quite literally see countless deaths and acts of terrorism daily from people who are proclaimed muslims, every damn day. But still they cant stop spewing their vitriol toward anything and everything 'christian' because ALL christians are evil white, ring wing vile people.

I dunno what the hell is going on, there is a serious explosion of hate lately, and from where im sitting, it all seems to be coming from the left, and trendy millenials who just want to seem cool to be a part of something.

God, i hope this all ends soon.

Well put! Your sentiments should be an eye opener for the left, but I imagine they will just sling poop at it.

I have only seen bits and pieces of this story, is there a reason he is being referred to as a terrorist? Is there a manifesto of some kind? Just wondering

This thread went to complete $%(& as expected, and probably intended by the thread starter.

You can browse the political websites and see the "liberals" blaming Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Limbaugh, and any number of politicos of the "right-wing."

Confirmation bias without facts all based on a partial quote provided by an unnamed law enforcement official during the initial arrest of the subject.

This kind of division certainly doesn't foment a positive discourse aimed at discovering the truth of the matter for any sort of justice to take place.

It is nothing but a bunch of childish ranting, raving lunatics pointing fingers at each other across the dividing line.

It seems obvious to me that all these Christians need to be rounded up and put into camps where they can be watched. What are we waiting for.....a mushroom cloud?

As for dear being Christian he may identify as such but doesn't make him true Christian and it doesn't make him right wing any more than Kim Davis was a republican. There are plenty left wing democrats who believe in Christian socialism. He is extreme though no doubt and way off track.

So are you saying that this behaviour is acceptable when "liberal" organizations engage in it, but not when "conservative" organizations do?

Please explain to me how the two situations are different and don't make for a massive case of hypocrisy?

So the general theme of this thread from those that don't want him labeled chrisitian is that we don't have all the facts yet, fair enough, and that even if he was, he isn't a TRUE christian.

I am sure that true is rather subjective, but I bet next time some one that identifies as a muslim and many will come out and say that person isn't a true muslim we all will have no issues branding that person as a muslim terrorist.

Strange how that works.

No, you're deliberately trying to dodge the topic of the thread by discussing a different group of extremists

What different group are you talking about? I already said there is no extremism in Islam, it's only extreme to us, here, in the west. Your OP is saying "see? Christians are terrorists too" because of the PP thing. And like others who've told you, there's no comparison.

and making completely false allegations.

False allegations about what? Care to quote what I said that was false?

As for your link to help leverage a point. Well, you have no point. Some right wing christian nutter makes a half baked comment about stoning gay people doesn't equate to stoning not being exclusive to Islam. Actually, and factually, I looked it up. Stoning isn't even in the Qu'ran, they stole it from the Christians. So wtf now? Let me explain in a way that should be abundantly clear. The Majority of Muslims in Muslim countries practice and believe in participating in a punishment that isn't even originally part of their Islamic faith. Not just few of them. Not just the "terrorists". Practically all of them. And if they don't stone you, you'll get 100 lashes in front of a crowd of people. And that is as per the Qu'ran.

Regardless, the entire religion goes against liberal values yet they are compelled to defend Islam on the grounds of equality for all. If liberals can't explain this oxymoron conflict of interest, then there is nothing further to even discuss. Liberals must give a logical, responsible answer for their blatant and ignorant hypocritical points of view or they have 0 credibility. You better come up with a good reason why it's not alright to have poor human rights values in specific nations, but its ok to have those nations here. Unchanged, and unchallenged.
