So Sammamishman and I were at it again. We got up to Washington and decided to take a day or two off, so he and I met up and decided to play with the Boeing sights up this way. We went by the 737 plant in Renton, the Boeing museum at Boeing Field, and up to Everett and did the factory tour up there. Unfortunately no cameras or electronics allowed on that so no pictures from inside the plant. Well worth the tour if you have a chance though. Very interesting, and our guide was very knowledgeable.

Who can tell me where the E-3 behind the P-8 is from?

One of these aircraft is a 767-2C, the other is a KC-46. Who knows which is which?

Is the E-3 one of the NATO ones?

ETA: That crest looks more NATO-y than Saudi.

Don't believe everything you read.

If you zoom in on both aircraft you'll see the N numbers. The one at Boeing field is N461FT. On the other you can just make out 2KC, making it N462KC.

That makes the aircraft at Boeing Field EMD-1, the 767-2C, and the aircraft at Everett EMD-2, the KC-46.

The parking lot that I was in is literally right around the corner from the 737 plant. They store fuselages that are on the rail cars behind the stores there until they're ready to pull them in.
