His trial should take place in about two years and he will try to use some insanity defense, I'm guessing.

Early on in this thread there was a mention of him trying to ignite a propane tank and never nothing more about that?

I think that's what the spokeswoman was alluding to in the last news conference. The "items."

I think a big round of applause should go to the CSPD for the job they did here. They could have went "Rambo" in this situation or even killed the man at a few points, but they were patient and did what they had to do to keep people safe.

Now we get to learn why this man did what he did and that is very important.

I dunno, but there seemed to be as many news trucks as police and emergency vehicles.

Damn. Colorado's police game is STRONG. Feds, the UC Colorado police, the El Paso Co. sheriff, ATF, CBI and another specialty CO dept for the explosives.

He must've had SOMETHING significant to warrant all that attention.

I think it also shows how a suspect can dictate the outcome of an incident.

If he would of came out charging and fighting with the officers he would of absolutely (and rightfully so) been shot and killed.

Instead, for whatever reason he decided to surrender. He decided that he wanted to make it out alive.

Very much agreed. Im very proud of cspd. I often find myself not defending the police, but they deserve a round of applause.

I am shocked he's still alive.

"White privilege" being the reason why he was taken alive will be claimed.

Please, don't start down that road.

Just stating the reality of 2015 America. If you choose to live in denial go aheead.

Only the nutbags will say anything about race.

No argument there.

Exactly. Has nothing to do with race. Has to do with nut jobs who think this kind of behavior will reverse Roe v. Wade...

That's a very important aspect as well. Perhaps the most important.
