No, I'm separating political or religious views from the state here, as it should be.
If anyone doesn't see the thin line in this, then there are examples in history, that I could refer to.
The sign as shown now is harmless as it is, however I think this could eventually lead to more segregating views in the future, seeing how the nature of humanity can quickly devolve to this, especially in terms of current world events.

Segregation seems to be what people like BLM and all who support them are currently going for.

I'm not aware of what BLM is or stands for, please explain it.

I define it as a domestic terrorist group.

Bureau of Land Management...

Eminent Domain is the most unconstitutional law ever passed and or used, goes against everything a free society stands for.

Public/Government property only depends on what you're pushing. It's only okay to push a progressive agenda. But mention god...and all hell breaks loose! Unless it Zeus, Isis, Budah, Mohammed,..rainbow flags..Ishatar..Satan, politics...etc. But how dare, anyone have standards! This sign wouldn't have even been mentioned if the Sheriff would have slapped a Hillary 16 or a rainbow sticker on it.

So, you don't really have an answer, then. OK. Where do you see "progressive agenda" signs permanently erected on government property?

It stands for Black Lives Matter. Look it up or read some American media. Left wingers love it.

"Humanist" alway seem to get riled up over things they claim in thier mind, doesn't exist. Then go after them that believe it does. Real progressive of them. Always brings a good chuckle.

I wasn't going to comment on this one, because I find the whole argument down right funny,

I grew up with signs that said a lot worse than this, and some as simple as "White Only" or "Colored".

Some will say that the times have changed and you don't see those signs anymore. Just because the signs are missing, it doesn't mean the sentiment has changed. I know a lot of people my age that say it was so much simpler when the signs let you know what you dealing with.

I can't get upset about a sign that is paid for out of the Sheriff's pocket, and I always appreciate when someone is upfront and honest with me, even if they are telling me they don't like me. I know not everybody is going to like me and that is okay, just don't laugh in my face and make nice while you are stabbing me in the back.

"Permanently"? I find your use of that word, interesting. So it's okay to temporarily post "personal agenda" signs? I also find your "government property" a bit amusing. I've guarded "government property". Trust me, this sign ain't on it.

or blacklivesmatter.com... ?

I can't see any relevance in either in response to the OP.
Maybe I should leave this thread as it's going over my head now...

So what does the Sheriff's sign mean to you? What emotional "sentiment" does this sign bring up, in you? Signs are two fold...go in or don't. As a sane, white person I like signs. I'd never want to accidentally walk into a "Panther Party" with two of my Black, sane friends. ..I don't think they'd want that either, for me. How does this sign hurt your freedom? Life, liberty or pursuit of happiness? I can think of several federal and state "laws" that hinder that, more than this sign does.

So, you take issue with my wording to avoid answering the question. Pretty lame debate tactic... Yeah, I see you don't have an answer.

Sorry to butt in, but? It's like your mom, telling your wife, how your house should be run. The Federal government. Has no business telling, free and sovereign states, how to "manage" thier land. If they did. They/Congress should have never voted them "Statehood". BLM have badges. You can buy them on ebay.

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. What was the question? I do have an answer for everything. You probably didn't punctuate right and I "misread" it. With due respect, Please ask again? There is so much "ignorance" to be "denying". It is, easy to get confused. Hope you understand?

Obviously you're way to "educated" to get the joke. Yes, I said JOKE. As in, a source of humor. But it is very relevent.

It seems that to most people that are believing this sign should not be there do not believe in the will of the people.

Even if you do not agree it is very clear that a sheriffs job is to enforce the law according to his interpretation.

It's a different world there. They call it God's country for a reason. Pine Mountain is an awesome place, and Warm Springs(FDR's getaway and death bed) is near by.

The sign.is supported by the majority of the residents, and most are friendly people and not there to push religious beliefs on anyone, however they will push their favorite hunting rifle and and brag about bucks they.have taken down.

And his/her constituents. It's "Democracy" pure and simple. But the libs/socialist and progressives want to "philosophies"..and "think" about it. Meanwhile throw in a couple PC attack words to buy time. No "civilization" survived a lack of standards. None! Zero! It's Mathematic and provable!

What I mean is, if he wants to put a sign out front for December that says. "Merry Christmas and may God Bless America!", I don't think that's a problem at all. The White House turned into a rainbow to celebrate marriage equality. No problem.

His little ego trip could cost his fairly poor county millions in legal fees and lost revenue.

That's fiscal responsibility for you!
