My mother told me once;" You and your brother are always fighting, sometimes i watch, sometimes i let you decide for yourself..
You had to make a choice, even if one of you came running to me crying... Well you both are in on it or you both are hypocritical.. In war there is no sides, there is no winners, only losers.. But you seem to forget it all the time.. Now go play or you will both be punished severely"

Ummm...I find it strange that one would be punished...for fighting...as if the authority figure now becomes the harm instigator...in order to stop the instigation of harm...

I wonder if there's a better way...a more evolved approach...I suppose it is a good thought exercise to consider...however I realize that without the requisite evolution of all parties...such will ever remain just a nice thought exercise...

Perhaps we require a species more advanced...more evolved...to uplift us beyond our territorial natures...
Alas...you can't take the monkey out of the man...or so it would seem...
