I'm suspecting this is media spin so they can later say the rebels killed them. A fighter jet is one thing, human lives are something else altogether.

Then Russia should have listened the first several times it was warned about violating Turkish airspace.

That may be true but your going on here say.

It also doesn't matter. There isn't a single european, US, Canadian country who would have handled it that way. They would have been escorted out by planes.

It appears to have now been confirmed that 10 warnings were issued - sorry, can't provide a link, I'm watching that on the TV. The source is via the Pentagon as it happens for what I just heard so depends if you believe them or not at this point. Frankly, I think you have made your mind up and if one of the countries you quoted was next to what is effectively a war zone and a hot, loaded fighter jet is over your territory, not sure you would be so polite as to escort it out.

Well history indicates differently. Most nations escort planes out unless they ignore the physical warning of the escort. As a failsafe for radio differences problems.

I have made my mind up that it was a dumb move on Turkeys part and they shouldn't be in NATO.

Also Russia just had a passenger jet blown out of the sky by Isis. This was a time to bring everyone one in not start something bigger.

I have the right to shoot a twelve year old breaking into my garrage but I didn't do it.

THAT is the development I referred to earlier which I hoped we wouldn't hear. This, if true, will likely escalate things more so than the downing of the fighter in my opinion.

It was a Syrian chopper, rather than Russian

Turks have been asking for a safe zone and they now got it . You are cleverer then your posts suggests .
Next the Turks going to send in the troops to secure an area to contain another possible refugee wave of 3 - 5 million Syrians.

Fortunately, the Russians will play this down ... even if they shouldn't. This is a time, when they should be taking the dust of their nukes.

This is a game of chicken, and the Russians appear to be losing it.

Have you any idea how many muslim , jewish and christian Turkics are in the Russian Army ?

Have you considered the reaction which Russia will get from Turkic Nations , especially Turkmenistan ?

As for your desire to see millions of human beings killed by nukes ; well , do you know how batsh1t crazy do you sound ?
Are there moments in your life where you utter to yourself " Maaan I AM really crazy " ?

Here is a Circassian Proverb to wish you well ; " Bear will always steal honey " .

ISIS is like an infectious disease; people can have the best intentions

I thought so too, for a long time ... that people had the best of intentions, until. Well, let's put it this way ... when the line of "mistakes, despite honest intentions", becomes pages long. One has to start wondering, if they aren't actually successes, and dishonest intentions.

Take another look at the "refugee" crisis ... we all want to help. But who opens up their gates, like Merkel and says "welcome", knowing well that these aren't really Syrian refugees. If, the woman is really this naive and stupid ... how comes she's a chancellor. Or, was she acting as a US/Britain stooge ... allowing something to enter, and then now the gate is being closed. Why open the gate, for just a week or two? Are these "good intentions" just a temporary measure? one to replace with malice, at a moments notice?

Look at the French and Brussel police force, walking the streets ... with masks? hiding their identify from the people they are "supposedly" protecting? Are they bandits, or armed forces? where did ISIS learn to wear "masks", from SWAT teams? Whom are ISIS hiding their faces from, the populace they intend to become the populace of their Califat?

The infectious disease, isn't ISIS ... they're just a symptom. The disease is NWO.

I'm sorry I doubted this, because it sounded so crazy when I heard it in the past...but, in light of recent events, it's clear to me now.

President Obama and SoS Hillary Clinton DID create ISIS. I am ashamed of my President.
They knew all along this would happen...and they have been protecting ISIS all along.

I just read the declassified DOD report from this June:

It's actually getting tiring debunking veteranstoday.coms black propaganda. Here: read this.

Who the F is talking about yoga?

You (and clearly the Turkish military) need to look at the bigger picture and get..a..grip.

You are, when you equate violating airspace and ignoring warnings as "Political correctness". It's not. If they violated the airspace they should have answered the warnings. If someone violates Scottish Airspace, and ignores multiple warnings, what do you want your airforce to do? I know what I want mine to do.

When did I speak about yoga? Have you lost your mind? Stick to the topic!

We liaise with Russian jets almost bi-monthly that violate our airpspace we do not shoot them down!

Already explained, my mind is not the problem here, I think you understand perfectly well and want to play the fool because the alternative would be to admit you said something stupid.

Russian bombers test airspace, they come close to test the response. They do not violate it.

Test airspace or violate airspace? Do you understand the difference? I'll tell you, there isn't one.

I didn't say anything stupid and you tried to create a link between what I said, and yoga. I'm going to go with; you said something stupid.

If you think there is no difference you are a fool. One you come CLOSE to another nations airspace, but do not enter it, the other you actually enter it. One is fine, one is not.

They do enter it, regularly.

WRONG. The ministry of defence has stated that Russian planes have never violated UK airspace, they just come provocatively close. That would be close over the sea as in 12 miles from the coast.

Turkey is different they violated Turkish air space over land armed with missiles.

The Russians are wrong they were warned and it was not the first time, they deserve what they purposely provoked. The aggressive and incorrect actions of the Russians in Syria is being increasingly exposed and the pro Putin people here on ATS are having a severe attack of Cognitive Dissonance. It is going to get a damn site worse when other countries send their planes in as well.....UK next....Jesus H.

Well said , hear hear !!!

I don't think it's pro Putin to be extremely wary of Turkey who's government is every bit as bad as Russia if not worse since members are actually influenced by radicals. They are every bit if not more repressive to their people as Russia.

Second England doesn't have a finger of its country in a war zone where terrorists just blew a passenger plane out of the sky.

If one questions why one is wary of Turkish Government ; it wouldn't stand up to scrutiny.

What wouldn't?

It's ovious in the interest of Turkey that they rather see the PKK gone then ISIS.
Also as the Turks had a major role in controlling the region ,and now the Russians are taking over that role is something that Erdoğan can't coop with.

Turkmenians have killed the pilots while hanging from their parachutes, it's a cowardly act I would say , they could just take them hostage. The Turkmenians say that Russians killed their people in this conflict.

Well I can guess who gave the orders....

The Russians now are boycotting all tour operating business to Turkey one large income lost for Turkey

Thanks for this excellent video with real truths on the ground in ME.

Russia should and "has to has to has to" AVENGE this dastardly shooting down of its jet and most evil act of killing its pilots while in a parachute. This revenge should be taken on Turkey as a state and rebels on the ground and has to be very severe..........especially on Ankara.

I had a feeling it's was only a matter of time before something like this happened. We'll see how level headed Putin is. Will he retaliate? or will cooler heads prevail? I have a feeling Putin's not going to let this one slide.
