Innocent Woman Mistaken For Paris Suicide Bomber

I was linked this video on Facebook from a friend the original video is in Moroccan the woman is alive and well her photos were apparently sold , French media use them to accuse her of suicide bombing.
There is another video of a Palestinian man who was accused of being one of the attackers as well

That is interesting but not surprising. It seems like no one checks their sources anymore. They just run with whatever will get them column space, air time, what have you. Journalism is in a serious downward spiral.

Unfortunatly they will have to undergo interrogation for many many years to see if they are telling the truth. They could just as easily be lying.

Ok so this womans mentions nothing of her Cousin being the suicide bomber .

Also how do you excuse the guys account as being one of the attackers when he wasn't. Reguardless. The media really tried feeding the public lies .

ETA : your link is dated the 20th that's about 5 days or so after the attacks. Thats enough time to change the OS.. Just saying its fishy.

Did her image appear in what the French equivalent to ATS would agree is a credible source? Otherwise, this falls under satire and tabloid "journalism", where they err on the side of ridiculous and speculative.

The problem lies in the readers inability to separate fact from fiction. If she's smart, she'll capitalize on it like OJ did. "If I WAS affiliated with the Paris attack, this is how I'd do it." LOL

Anyways, these journalists need to find another profession, if you can even label what they do as professional. Real people suffer for no real purpose or gain other than readership and quite possibly confusion with intent.

Smells like 911 all over again.

I'm not surprised, every one rushing to get the first headline instead of getting the facts right, its the problem of modern media with every one getting there news in an instant there is no time for fact checking, so things are reported poorly and often times even when things are pointed out and proven to be wrong no retractions are made.

Canadian man's selfie altered to look like Paris suicide bomber

A Spanish newspaper apologized Sunday after it printed the photo of a Canadian Sikh man, which had been altered and presented as the image of a person responsible for the deadly attacks in Paris on Friday.

An image of Veerender Jubbal, a freelance writer from the Greater Toronto Area, began circulating online shortly after multiple, co-ordinated attacks in Paris left 129 dead and hundreds injured.

We had a similar incident here in southern Ontario. A young man from Brampton was misidentified by a Spanish newspaper as one of the Paris attackers.
