I saw this too. Those airships in question are giants.
This is probably the biggest airship deal of the last 20 years.

This is such fantastic news for LTA.

It's just a shame that the Lockheed/Skycat design is so homely, but if it works, it works!

I like the hydrogen pump bladder design that DARPA has going.
It compresses the gas to descend and releases it to rise.
No dreaded incredibly inefficient ballast.
