The attack in Paris has shown us many things and in the world view, sides in the argument are quickly defined with stances on everything from uranium stockpiles to racism to refugees. I am for humanitarian aid but right now the Shia/Sunni conflict that has raged for years is expanding as it did in 600 AD. Read the history of Palestine and tell me if there are any true tribe left...

Our POTUS, Mr Obama, would have us believe that only radicals are to fear. We should not fear the one or two female or child refugees...right? They can do us no harm. There are millions of Muslims who I will describe as Muslites...those who know the Koran but may choose to drink or let their wife drive a car. Our government wants us to turn the page and simply accept moderates at face value. Well, non- conservative Christians can be nuts to so why not moderate Muslims? I mean, I wish I had a case to use...wait...I do....

Hasna Ait Boulahcen, recently became Europe's first female suicide bomber. She attempted to lure the officers and detonated a vest. She was killed and they found her head and other body parts on the street after flying out the window.

How long was she a supporter of her brother and ISIS? 1 month....her brother was known to authorities.

Before that she partied, screwed a lot, did a lot of drugs and drinking and according to friends was an extrovert who simply liked a good time and NEVER mentioned religion. A kid from a split home who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. She was home grown...like we will find in the US.

Her other brother said...

In a statement, her brother Youssouf, said that he had never even see her open the Koran.
'She was living in her own world. She was not interested in studying her religion', he said. 'She was permanently on her phone, looking at Facebook or WhatsApp.
'I told her to stop all of this but she would not listen, she ignored my numerous attempts to give her advice telling me I was not her dad, or her husband, and so I should leave her alone.'

So it is not the radicals only to be worried about...it can, and will be, anyone. This takes us back to profiling which then leads to cries of racism which will then separate the country further. 14 years have passed since 9/11 and we are at our most vulnerable point since then.

Very true. Who's to say one of us doesn't go bat sh*t crazy and blow something up. Shoot, about 5-10 years back a man that recently got fired from his job across the street from me brought an ak-47 to his ex-work, and started mowing people down. Was he an extremist? No. just went bat sh*t crazy.

depends how you view things, from their perspective 15 or something Saudi's crashed a plane into a few buildings. The Americans radicalized and starting killing them daily ever since with terror attack after terror attack, anyone that looked like them has been slaughtered from Afghan to Libya to Iraq to Yemen etc. From your perspective all those people killed in those terror attacks of freedom are an oopsie and the remaining family members who are angry turn to terrorism because of Islam. Waking up to burned wives, children, fathers, mothers, etc had nothing to do with it. Now France has been slaughtering them for a while, they retaliate and all of sudden its because of Islam and ISIS. As an African I just sit back and watch the nonsense, when we where getting independence it was because we wanted to kill British families, had nothing to do with segregated laws and killing of citizens.

They have converted people over social network and have made arrangements for them to get over to Syria. They then become soldier or wife, depending on their gender.

They groom isolated kids just like paedophiles. In fact, they can be revered as such in my opinion.

This is very true. People from anywhere do go insane and bring on carnage.

I would add though that Islam does seem to be the perfect incubator for this sort of psychopathic behaviour. I mean wife beating for instance is openly accepted and even encouraged as a way to say 'wake up woman' by the Imams in sermons.

It's a religion of violence and vengeance. Their founding prophet pacified the middle east by sword in violent conquest.

Jesus, Buddha and most other religious founders on the other hand were peaceful people who won people over through dialogue and personal sacrifice.

Don't forget that some people that were not Muslim converted and became ISIS supporters, so why not consider non-Muslims as a possible menace in the same way? Also, in many cases, people from other countries were converted to the supposed "ISIS cause", so anyone can become an ISIS recruit, so why not consider your next door neighbour as a potential menace?

To me, that's the wrong way of looking at things, if we are going to suspect people saying that they may become our enemies then we are just starting on a dangerous path that may lead us to suspect everyone and to become frightened of our own shadow. After all, what guarantees do you have that you will not turn into a menace yourself?

If we want to avoid this kind of thread we should change things so there are no reasons to convert normal people into extremists of any denomination, and that is done mostly through informing people and showing them that we are all the same, with the same needs and thoughts, races, countries, religions are only thin walls that separate us from each other, the do not make us different.

Exactly, but if ATS is an example of anything if push come to shove most here would convert to Islam rather than Christianity as even when posting the atrocities done by Muslims the board is shouted down by Christian hate.

Picture what has already been done and does happen today and what people can expect if a united Muslim caliphate happens and their populations equal or outnumbers western countries as they are increasing nowadays..

Muslims outnumber you and your family and say "you! do you believe that there is no other god than Allah and Mohammad is his messenger?"

Your sons responds "no" WOOSH! his head rolls on the ground spurting his blood

Muslims- "You!, do you believe ....." WHOOSH! goes your fathers head, your wife and daughter will either be their wife or sex slave.

This is the very nature of Islam.

They have slaughtered countless people and are still doing it today.

Islam is not the God of the Bible and comes from Ishmael who was sent away by Abraham because he was wild and would worship idols etc who then became the Arabs or people of the desert and the false prophet Mohamad came 1400 years ago, who then slaughtered Christians throughout all of the known ME. The last massive slaughter was 1.5 million Christians Armenian Genocide. Yet we don`t hear the outrage over it or the mass slaughters by that war mongering barbaric religion since its beginnings.

Its prophesied in the bible and gives clear wording that Gods judgement toward that beast which is Islam will be judged and all those countries we know as Islamic WILL be destroyed! Egypt Iraq Turkey Syria Iran Sudan Jordan Palestine Lebanon Saudi etc a war like has never been seen. But not before a falling away and deaths of Christians and the dividing of Gods land Israel and the coming of the Anti-Christ who will force people into worshiping him or they lose their heads. ( the Muslims Mahdi/Messiah ) Christ then lays waste to the beast and all those who are not His, he isn`t coming back as a pacifist!.

That's not likely to happen in the near future, mostly that "united" part, as most Muslims do not follow ISIL's version of Islam.

No.

It's obvious that Islam is not the god of the Bible, as Islam is a religion, not a god, bot the god of the Bible is the god of Islam, and Islam also recognizes several Christian figures.

It's interesting that what you say is very similar to what ISIL says.

the tread title seems appropriate to ask about the 1st female suicide bomber of france'

it is sort of known that:

...Terrorism experts say sometimes women (and even men) are told they can redeem the shame of having lived with liberal western values by sacrificing their lives for Islam.
Indeed, reports from the suicide bomber’s friends and brother chronicle a young woman with a troubled childhood, living in foster homes, growing up to be “a party girl who loved clubbing,” who “drank alcohol” and had “lots of boyfriends,”

I seriously wonder if the 'party-girl'-turned Muslim, who hung with the 'mastermind'...
did not actually have AIDS from her earlier trysts at promiscuity before giving allegiance to ISIS Islam

and her suicide was tainted with having that incurable STD....she was hoping to get redemption by becoming a suicide bomber in protecting her cousin & ISIS inspired Muslim mastermind of the horrific Paris operations... ?

oh yeah...the source was: www.torontosun.com...

That is a specific point of view but...this?

We must answer the young woman’s pleas for help, even feigned, and call out the extremist interpretation of Islam that claims the lives of not only innocent civilians, like the Parisians who died on Friday the 13th, but a young French-Moroccan Muslim woman who had such a fondness for cowboy hats she was called “the cowgirl.”

Uh no. Like the Shahidka or Chechen Black Widows. Women can create their own motivation just like men.

There are plenty of woman outside of Europe who have also performed this act. There are terror groups that will kidnap and use, remotely detonating many times, young women.

The fact that the author was making a suicide killer a martyr was to me on the edge of sickening.

I partially agree with him, as there must be a reason why people that appear to have a normal life turn to these extremes. From the little I have seen of it, it looks like the people that look for ISIS members are specialized in detecting those more easily convinced that their apparent useless life until then can be turned into something important.

The fact that are people that fall for it is a sign of a problem, and it's a big problem because that's the source of most of these "amateur" extremists that are as deadly as the "professionals".

Well, i am reading some reports that it was not even her so...I guess she should have chose better people to hang out with. She was probably doing all their smack and who knows what else but I stand by my thought...

In my OP I state

"Well, non- conservative Christians can be nuts to so why not moderate Muslims?"

You see, a group of Baptists did not just shoot up a casino because they think gambling is bad. There is a large group of people, and I have said for years that it will be exploited one day. And it is.

I am not targeting moderate Muslims...I am making the point that ANYONE can be radicalized even if they look and act moderate. That is all. Remember, it is the silent one to worry about and not the one to brag and boast about their might.

Thanks for the clarification, I understand it now.

As you were speaking about letting moderate Muslim refugees being accepted and the example you presented was from a Muslim person I thought it was only about Muslims.
