What do you imagine....

when you are daydreaming. What do you imagine happening to you and those you love?

Do you dream of wonderful vacations?

Do you imagine a suptuous feast?

Do you imagine the perfect car?

Or perhaps what you'll do during the zombie apocalypse?

Or the power goes out?

Another thread - about anti-war songs - mentioned John Lennons song "Image" and it got me thinking about what we habitually think about.

What do you think about? Do you dwell on fearful things or happy things? Do you know?

It used to be the coast. Everything's great on the coast. I'm a grandpa now and that's changed. I get it now.

Hmmmm....I have one of those minds that rarely stops churning thoughts in and out. Just constant chatter of the brain.

I'm sure others can relate.

When my mind does slow down enough to even day dream....it's usually about my kid's happy and successful future. I try to imagine them older and married....Established lives of their own.

Now, my nightly dreams....Ha! Those are just normally too insane to even talk about.

I remember my dreams very vividly and have since I was a child.

They are either extremely happy dreams or, insanely impossible to explain to anyone.

Just absolutely insane....good and bad.

I like to daydream about having a girlfriend in every country and I just go every week to another country and have sex and eat chocolate croissants and drink lattes.

When I day dream I dream about connecting with people.

Changing the world.

Making this better for mine and thus everyone.

I dream about the platinum rule, the holy grail.

I watch the dream and learn.

When I wake, I move in that direction like a tidal force.

I dream of having my own starship and being able to travel the galaxy investigating strange phenomenon and learning about life and people on other planets. Seriously, I do.

What nice thoughts. You'll laugh at mine - I pretend paying off all my debts. Then travel to all the places I've seen on globes and atlases. That's what retirement is - right?
