HIV is a terrible disease but lets not forget that one can lead a normal life. Magic Johnson is the perfect example of this. No surprise with the vast amount of drug and sex use.

This really isn't "winning", Charlie...

On one hand, jokes are going to be made. It's inevitable, considering how unhinged he has been in the past. But you do have to wonder if his meltdown was spurred by finding this out.

I can see FB quickly shifting to this issue. Especially if Sheen seems like a changed man due to the diagnosis.

Sheen is a believer in 9/11 conspiracies. Some such people are good targets for intelligence operations. Sheen could be willingly doing this. Or been brought in unwittingly.

Or it could be real and the media was just able to pluck this one out to use as the necessary distraction. But I doubt it.

While I agree with some of what you are saying, It's still not right for him to not disclose he has HIV.

Someone mentioned twitter and fb blowing up with negative comments, I'm not in the least surprised. I only say that because I suspect he knew he had it and didn't disclose it to his sexual partners.

I don't think anyone said he shouldn't have to disclose he has HIV. He lives a crazy life, and may not have even known he had HIV while he was sleeping with these women, who in themselves may not be being safe sexually. That doesn't make it right, but no one should be especially surprised. He probably doesn't have to disclose it publicly like a complete fame-whore.

Personally, I think he is only coming out on live morning TV because he thinks it might save his career/reputation. Maybe garner some sympathy so the world doesn't turn on him.

Apparently, this has been widely known in Hollywood because the information was in the leaked Sony emails.

I would hope he didn't know he had it before sleeping with women but, from the things I have been reading, it doesn't look very good.

I guess we will know more tomorrow but, I seriously doubt he would publicly admit it....that would open him up to a ton of lawsuits I would imagine.

No one knows when he found he had it or if he told anyone. This is really jumping the gun.

This is all speculation but, I read that a lady he was sleeping with saw the medication he was taking and knew that it was for HIV treatment.

He then starting giving her a crap ton of money just to keep her quiet about it. Possibly even bought her a house.

Then there is the whole thing with the Sony email hack where it was disclosed.

I'm honestly surprised that it didn't come out sooner.
