Sheesh I can't believe, as someone defending freedom of religion in this thread, I'M the bad guy here... Muslim hate is strong right now. So sad...

You have never struck me as the dense type. Maybe you're just not understanding the differences.

Point out all the mosques that are harboring terrorists or indoctrinating terrorists within our borders and I'll glad agree with you. In fact, name ONE.

Pathetic, really..

I agree with what you say often. Like your look on thinks. FYI, I am scared of snakes. Not all of them strike at me but I dont take any chances. Not in my back yard.

If I see a snake I don't call the police to come handle it. I protect my self with all means. Sometimes I can identify the snake by its colors and sometimes buy its movement. I don't kill them all jut the ones known to strike.

I am not sure how you got the idea I wanted to kill anyone. I am frustrated by the fact that bad Muslims are doing bad things and they are intentionally blending in with regular Muslims, and in doing so, have made it almost impossible to deal with this issue without sounding like an anti-Muslim radical.

I honestly do believe that the God of Islam is the same God I pray to. And just as Christians in the past have waged war in the name of God (however wrong or misguided that was), there is a large group doing this today, and they are practicing the Islamic Religion.

And for what it's worth, I don't' kill any snakes, as even the one's that strike aren't doing so out or hatred, they do so out of necessity. They would all rather leave the area then have to bite you. It's just a whole lot easier to understand snakes than it is radical humans.

It must be done on a community level. Know your neighbors. I hate the "See something, say something" to the core, but we know who they are. Man, I wish I had answers for us, but this is a real catch 22. I can normally pick a side with a clear line. Reading these posts has me bouncing back and forth between hate and love.

How about trusting that statistically you are more likely to NOT run into an extremist than to run into one? Just like every other religion in the world.

Oh man get real. Since when is Islam like every other religion in the world? They will be the first ones to tell you they are NOT. That's part of the problem. Unless........ you don't see a problem.

I'm not sure how he knows what he thinks he knows, but is he wrong to say that hate is coming from certain mosques? Calling him bigoted, intolerant and resorting to ad hominem and appeals to the emotions do not refute his points. I would suggest some counter-arguments and evidence.

I personally do not know if he himself has any evidence or not, but if he is going on his gut feeling, no he does not have any right to even consider closing any mosques. Even if they are preaching some sort of hatred, that does not constitute any conspiracy to commit acts of terror, and I believe he would be violating the first amendment.

So how come the Westboro Baptist Church wasn't shut down?

Are they in every country, promising the same result? With countless armies made from weak minded youth?

Are they a threat in indonesia, the middle east, africa, america, europe, australia, new zealand, so more?

Grow up.

Grow up? Very mature response there.

well you can stay insolent, just dont talk to adults.

I admit it I hate Islam. I think it's a vile corruption.

I think all religion is as bad.

now what?

How do you feel about the First Amendment?

Dunno. Dont have it in my country. I do have this thing called a thought process though.

Here's an example. There's this book, it's pretty obscure....In it, no one has really any freedom at all and they live that way thinking their government is protecting them from wars that are actually imaginary. They work where they are told, they eat small bits of food they are given, live in tiny apartments with no curtains so drones can look in. Some even have jobs that prove this is going on, but they still don't see it. And those are the people that belong to the single political party. The rest live in horrible slums and are distracted by free porn and alcohol and such. Unbelievable I know right??? That people would give up freedoms in exchange for being told they were safe.

Probably a waste of time to read.

Does it trump my rights? Does it ay I must forgo them?

Book or not, another mans words are just that.

yeah sounds pretty nice to think, but guess what? You and I live in a world full of killers. Sorry I don't read a book to say its' ok.

Another variable here is that a lot of extremists and plotters are detected and stopped because their fellow Muslims turn them in.

The vast majority of Muslims in this country do not support terrorism. Trump talking like this can only make things worse in a number of different ways.

Yea, thats never going to happen. /sarcasm

Almost scary...

140 instances of Americans standing their ground in self defense would not produce the carnage of one day we witnessed in France. I will keep my guns and vote for a loud mouthed bigot I think. As long as he doesn't want to disarm us all.

Well they were going to come to Canada until they found out they would be beaten, thrown in jail and laughed at their protests to their rights. There is NO 1st Amendment here, thus they have no protection. They only pull their crap where they are protected.

Sounds good. Yet here we are protecting people who blatantly say they hate us. Coz.. religion..

If people treated islam the way they did the WBC, we'd all get on better.

Nah, cant have that, it's racist....

bang bang shoot shoot death to the infidel...
