Low res board themes

Would it be possible to get a low res board theme? I don't know how many people are in this situation but I usually browse ATS on an older netbook, the maximum resolution is 1024x600 which puts it just above the 480 vertical resolution that triggers most mobile versions of websites, but 600 vertical resolution just isn't much and it causes a few viewing problems on the pages.

The biggest offender here (and the main thing that probably shouldn't trigger below 800 res) is the alert along the bottom for major posts like NLBS and so on. These alerts take up a huge portion of the available real estate and make browsing difficult until they fade.
