The U.S. described a vast, multi-year criminal enterprise centering on hacks of at least nine big financial and publishing firms and the theft of information on 100 million of their customers that fueled a web of stock manipulation, credit-card fraud and illegal online casinos.

JPMorgan's 2014 Hack Tied to Largest Cyber Breach Ever

They used 75 companies and bank and brokerage accounts around the world to launder money, prosecutors wrote. Other alleged offenses include hacking, securities fraud, wire fraud and identity theft.

Sounds like normal banksters to me. Are we sure they didn't hack themselves and claim somebody else did it? Wouldn't be too far fetched considering they perped the crash of 08, made a ton of money off 911 (where other 'others' were blamed for the current endless war on terror).

Just arrest the clowns quick, before they bring everyone down with them.

I agree 100%

Last time I checked 9 bankers were sent to jail
who were under Iceland's jurisdiction. Sadly,
that is an exception to the rule.

From the article:

Hackers and conspirators in more than a dozen countries generated hundreds of millions of dollars in illicit proceeds on pump-and-dump stock schemes and particularly lucrative online gambling, prosecutors said.

The video suggest the hackers were in Russia.

Is this yet another attempt to put into the American
people's mind this idea that Russia (or China) are the
future enemies "we" must someday "deal" with.

Even if it is true, it smells like war propaganda to me.

How interesting and coincidental that I should read this post just after getting an email that purported to be from JPMorgan-Chase. It was advising me that my account could be compromised and I should click through to change my password.

What is really interesting is that I haven't had a Chase account since a brief period in 1999, when I was added to an account. That account was canceled in January, 2000.

Yes these nitwits need to be taken out before they destroy what's still left of the planet.

The video suggest the hackers were in Russia.

But the three considered to be at the centre of the scheme are from Israel.

The co-conspirators deceived financial institutions into processing and authorizing payments to and from the casino companies and others, prosecutors wrote in their latest indictment of Gery Shalon, Joshua Aaron and Ziv Orenstein, who they say are at the center of the scheme. Shalon and Orenstein were arrested in Israel in July. Aaron remains at large.

Hey thanks for pointing that out. I missed it.

Can't say it surprises me. The only real surprise
is that these guy weren't on some NGOs payroll.

I suppose bankers are making so much money that they don't even notice millions in non normal activity and fake accounts in their systems. More fuel to says the monetary systems is actually bogus.
