Are Kevin and Bill going to voice Tom and Crow still?

My understanding is that Joel is inviting all original crew back. Not sure if they will all accept or not. I'm optimistic about Kevin and Bill - come on, guys!!!! More likely, though, they will serve as writers.

Host, bots, and mads will likely all be new cast. If everyone is on board, though, Joel said cameos are likely.

This is my understanding from reading Joel's updates on the kickstarter.

The original cast is DEFINITELY excited about it. I got an email today about it from rifftrax.com. Plus they've started selling some of the best mst3k episodes on the website.

Future War
Mitchell - One of the all time BEST MST3K episodes!
The Pumaman
The Final Sacrifice

Excellent!!!

Ah, the chubby blue line! Mitchell has a special (greasy) spot in my heart. For years I couldn't walk into my house without singing "my my my my apartment."

It's one of my favorite go-to episodes for newbies that aren't into sci-fi or monster movies.

ETA - now I'm having Rowsdower flashbacks!! I gotta watch final sacrifice again!! Oh, Canada.

I haven't seen the final sacrifice or pumaman, but I've seen the other two. Definitely love Mitchell. To this day, I sometimes just whisper "Mitchell..."

I've seen a few rifftrax where they do that too.

Ha!

It's funny the references that stick with you for years and years. They come out at odd times.

It's not often I hear the theme from Shaft, but when I do I instantly have to say "Who’s the puffy guy who’s a big blurry sex machine? Mitchell!"

I have to figure out which are the most kid-friendly episodes... You know, so I can raise my children right.

Parenting is hard.

Well MST3K tends to be pretty kid friendly. It's their work outside of MST3K that you have to be a bit wary of. It isn't TOO much worse, but in rifftrax they'll cuss (though it's usually bleeped) and the jokes start venturing into drug references and other adult material at times as well.

Seems like the donations have stalled....was hoping that it would get the maximum, but not sure

imho the earlier / Joel eps were a bit nicer. Once Mike ran things the whole show seemed a bit meaner (and coarser).
still more kid-friendly than 99% of the other crapola on the tube.

The one that always stood out for me was "Joey the Lemur"

Great news. And yes, I watched the Turkey Day Marathon, as much as I could. The only food Eegah had was ramen and brown mustard. I find that particularly funny but I'm not sure why.

Danger! Death Ray(IIRC) was quite fun also. I didn't remember that one.

I have to work all day tomorrow so I'll miss this. Which kinda bites but one has to work in order to make money.
