Crocodiles to be used to guard drug dealers in Indonesia!

I came across this article and didn't know if it was a joke. But apparently it's true.

In Indonesia due to the dangers of prisoners escaping and bribing guards they have suggested a new idea to help keep the prison more secure. They have suggested the introduction of crocodiles to secure the perimeter of the prison. This is apprenticeship due to the crocs not being open to bribery.

I don't really know of this is actually a good idea but I can see the benefits. Introducing this kind of obstacle can induce a lot of fear into prisons and maybe make it more of a deterrent from escaping or even committing the crime.

On the point of crocs not being open to bribery I'm not so sure. I can definitely see a scenario of a prisoner on a hit list being used as a "bribe" to distract some guards in order to make a timely escape. But then again is it worth it?

now prisoners are inventive so they would just feed the guards to the crocodiles and then make their escape,chop a body into limbs and one per crocc!!!!

They cannot be bribed, but they could easily be poisoned, drugged, or slaughtered by a sufficiently skilled infiltration specialist. Drug cartels have people on their books who do that sort of work exclusively, and very well indeed. Bribery is simply a low impact method of getting someone in, or out of a secure location. That does not mean that it is the only way, not by a long shot.

I would say that the chances are that this crocodile gimmick is just one, and the least of several measures being put in place to ensure better security at the prison concerned.

The prisoners will find a way of capturing, killing and skinning said crocs then making good there escape dressed as a croc or at the very least the prisoners will have some really cool shoes.

In a mature free society, all adults can medicate themselves with whatever they need, and need not be treated as children! All medications are legal and available, naturally.
Insane people put people who deal in medication in prison and torture and crocs!
