Hi
I came across this article and didn't know if it was a joke. But apparently it's true.
In Indonesia due to the dangers of prisoners escaping and bribing guards they have suggested a new idea to help keep the prison more secure. They
have suggested the introduction of crocodiles to secure the perimeter of the prison. This is apprenticeship due to the crocs not being open to
bribery.
I don't really know of this is actually a good idea but I can see the benefits. Introducing this kind of obstacle can induce a lot of fear into
prisons and maybe make it more of a deterrent from escaping or even committing the crime.
On the point of crocs not being open to bribery I'm not so sure. I can definitely see a scenario of a prisoner on a hit list being used as a
"bribe" to distract some guards in order to make a timely escape. But then again is it worth it?
