Don't Go

I wept for you, softly, silently.
Hid my face, so you wouldn't know.
I never thought that you would leave,
But I know soon, you'll have to go.

Impossible for you to stay,
We tried everything we could.
I know if there was any way,
You would stay, I know you would.

Not wanting to make it worse,
I hide my pain away from view.
In my mind I scream and curse,
Angry, this has happened to you.

Seems the time went by so quick,
So many moments, that we let pass,
Until we found out you were sick,
Now we make every moment last.

As I sit and watch you slowly fade,
You fought it well and fought so hard,
I'm grateful for the memories we made,
And all the moments that we shared.

Thanks,

Sorry for your loss......I went through this almost 6 years ago and understand your pain.

Sitting in her spot

breezes , smells and nature's sounds

memories smiling.

Thank you..I am going through this with a family member..But he isn't gone yet. Still some memories to make and moments left to share..

I am sorry for your loss, though..It's nice to see you still remember the little things after 6 years. That's how they live on...

Best wishes my friend,

That made me cry. Just lost my Mom in October. Lost Dad 8 years ago and others. Always saddest for us left behind. It's like they leave a hole in our heart that no one else will ever fill. Cherish every moment and every memory. My heart goes out to you.

Is this an emotional loss, or a physical?

Very moving.
