Why don't all you damn socialists in America just get together and make your own super-commune instead of trying to dismantle our Bill of Rights. That's right, just get together build your own community where you eat nothing but processed low sodium and low fat diets (single serving portions for everyone), and everything is handed to you by the leaders. See how long it lasts. See how long your sick can live under socialized medicine. See how long you can keep order in a society that bans ownership of weaponry. See how long people can tolerate the burden of political correctness. How will you promise entitlement benefits to your immigrants?

It won't last. Why? Because you won't have any free, hard working people to leach off of. You won't have any wealth to redistribute and you won't have anyone to tell you "No". Education will glorify the state, and dissension will be illegalized.

Once a sense of entitlement sets in, it will be a downward spiral until total implosion occurs.

So why screw it up for all of us, when your social experiment can crash and burn on a much smaller scale?

Thanks for destroying my country.

Ummm..

Because they need to prey on the Non-Socialist for their property?

Why use your own resources when you can harness the "power of government" to rob from everyone else.

Just like every other person to use that word (Socialism), you are incorrect, mate.

Socialism is not communism, it has nothing to do with Marx, Bernie Sanders, Canada's PM, or any of that rot.

It is far more sublime than that, and considering you're not with the in-group of socialists, you obviously only know the exoteric layman's definition of socialism.

The esoteric creed is thus: Socialism is scientific morality, proven beyond any doubt!

I always LOVE how you deny what socialism is and then fail to explain what you think it is and how it works.

Please enlighten.

Socialism and communism are two different sides of the same dirty coin. They pretend it's socialism to provide government healthcare, but it's actually communism when you are forced to by a malfunctioning policy that was passed in the middle of the night with the words said "let's pass the bill so we can see what's in it."

Bullcrap! If it was scientific morality, then the science of "survival of the fittest" would be allowed to shine.

The wealthy class needs a working class in order to function. The healthier this working class is, the more it is able to spend and the healthier the country is. Wages have not been rising in tandem with the cost of living for a while now. People are working 40 hour weeks who cannot make a living wage. This is not right. They are not leeching off the system, they are putting in their hours, but the corporations aren't willing to pay them enough to live on. Meanwhile, the corporations get huge handouts in the hundreds of millions of dollars sometimes.

If you Google welfare, you will find that it consists of programs like veterans benefits, disability, food stamps, TANF etc. Do you want to deny someone on disability or a disabled veteran their benefits? Food stamps and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Familes, which is only temporary) are used by people that are having trouble getting by. Food stamps are used in many cases to subsidize employees who work full-time but can't afford a living wage because the company that hires them doesn't pay them enough.

If you want to get people off government assistance, raise the minimum wage to around $12.00 so that people can make a living wage and it will give the economy a boost as well and save the government money on food stamps and other social programs.

Socialism is a political and economic system of organization the end-goal of which is the community ownership of the means of production.

The moral backing of socialism is a postmodernist atheistic secular religion known as humanism - closely related to the global warming naturalist religion.

We want the capital you unrightly hold possession of, we believe it is moral and already belongs to us, the only reasoning we have to back it up is because we say so.

How could it not be scientific if secular humanist science is OUR religion?

Think about that now.

Socialism is the bridged gap between capitalism and communism. Under pure capitalism, if you don't want it hard enough to earn it for yourself, too bad, you go without. Under communism, if you don't work hard enough to meet your communal quota, you're sent to the gulag to rot. Under socialism, those who work hard are taken from so those who don't can have their wants provided for and in return the takers provide their votes to whoever promises them the most for the least amount of personal effort and woes.

Exactly! I want you to work so I don't have to.

Don't worry though, you're doing a very, very good thing in doing so.

Doesn't taking care of your fellow personkind make you feel good?

You can dress it up in your fancy vocabulary to try to make yourself feel better about it all you want, but it comes down to this - You still just described both communism and everything Marx, Bernie Sanders, Canada's PM, and all of that rot are telling us. You want what others have. You covet, and rather than take steps to earn your own, you think you are entitled to it simply because it exists. You call it nice names like "sharing" and "communal" but the reality is that you simply want what others have and you don't and need fancy terms to make you feel moral about stealing it.

THINK about this... is this strife because of the wealthier class or is it because the worker class is being taxed with taking the responsibility for the care, feeding, and wellbeing of the ever growing pond beneath us? The handouts (not hand ups, but pure, plain old handouts) have outpaced the growth of wages and prices in many cases... That has created an enormous drain on the middle class, AKA "the workers" because we've been the ones funding it all.

I am part of the working class, and I help those who are medicare, medicaide, and va recipients try to get what they need for a living. Socialism is killing them.

The whole reason medical costs are sky rocketing is because insurance companies eliminate competition between doctors and pharmacies. Why lower the cost of your services when you can just jack up prices and let the third party payors pick up the bill? Well, now they won't pick up the bill, so its pass on to the working class.

The same principle applies to wages. We are over taxed to support the poor, and now its falling into the hands of lazy degenerates.

Over legislation has destroyed the general prosperity if this country. Thank you socialism.

You nailed it comrade! Those who want what you have are doing a knockup job over in the U.S. of getting it.

I truly enjoy the fruits of other's labor. There's a special thrill in having the big bad government steal things for you.

This is why I love living close to our southern folks.

I live in a socialist democracy up north, and it's alright....my land of the free. Just cause it's good and cold.

I love the view and drive though, I just wonder is it sustainable?
