Sure, it's their right. It is also the right of members to leave the Mormon church, which is already starting to happen.

Just like with the Boy Scouts who banned homosexual boys and troop leaders. Enough people pulled out of the Boy Scouts, that the organization changed its tune quick enough.

The Mormon church will change its tune too. You don't have much of a church if no one shows up.
