I seriously doubt that Politico has the actual records from 1969,
This makes them look very unprofessional.

If I had to choose who I would be in battle with,
in a fox hole it would be Ben, not Hillary.

Yes, because one's political affiliation or ideology determines a person's effectiveness on the battlefield?

I'd rather be with Carson too. Hillary would just leave you behind with no reinforcements and later ask What difference does it make?

No, but one's 50 years' dedication to others, rather than nothing but 50 years of selfish power grabs.....would give you a clue as to your best partner.

This could backfire against the left machine, and give
Ben another boost in the ratings.

Heck, I remember when Hillary said she tried to join
the Marines....lol.

If I had to choose who I would be in battle with,

Speaking as a registered Democrat, I can tell you, that I would dearly love to see Dr. Carson as the Republican candidate.

I mean ... c'mon. I hope this sends his ratings THROUGH THE ROOF!

I'm sure.

I honestly believe that as a seventeen year old kid just out of highschool, that when they told him he was welcome to come, and he wouldn't have to pay anything, he absolutely believed he's been offered a scholarship. And in a way, he had. They said he could come free. What is that? In a way?

I think it was an honest mistake.

Sorry if I misunderstood you earlier. What you say here is eminently logical. Several folks here aren't gonna have any of it !

Yep, here and in the GOP steering committees. Did you honestly think the GOP would nominate Dr. Ben?

And this is beyond a "liberal" media attack at this point.

He couldn't handle the feeding frenzy at that press conference he just had and after a meltdown like that they will be after him for no other reason than to provoke another story.

I thought that strange story about how he chose which college to attend was just another example of how odd and actually unfocused this guy really is.

Where?

I do not see any proof whatsoever on Politico.

I think this is the point. Make lots of claims, not back them up or prove them, count on the stupidest among us to just believe it all and yelp to each other how awful Carson is.

Gosh......trying......to remember........where I've seen this before. Oh that's right, Herman Cain. Romney's "taxes", dog, and hijinks in 6th grade. Oh yeah.....Hillary Clinton saying Obama wasn't born here......

That's what the dems have. They may not have a credible or non-felony candidate....but they have this little method.

From the looks of the desperation, the left wants him out way before that,
too many good folks are listening to him, especially in key states.

Exactly. It's the Republican establishment not Hillary and the DNC who have the biggest motivation to take this guy down right now.

haha, yes, he was quite unfocused and odd in those hundreds of incredibly intricate brain surgeries. Absolutely, righty-oh, you got it on the money. And running Johns Hopkins......what silliness !! Give us our community agitator back for another term.

Carson keeps digging himself deeper and deeper...

Why Ben Carson’s West Point scholarship claim made no sense from the beginning

  • Westmoreland was not in Detroit at the time of the alleged meeting - he was in Washington according to Army/Washington records
  • Westmoreland had no position to offer nominations to WP *
  • WP does not offer "scholarships," who have to be nominated *
  • Carson didn't even complete his ROTC, as he admits he was only enrolled for 5 semesters and not a full 6 as typical.

* the rules for who can nominate a cadet are given in the article.

In short, Carson is a fabulist.

That's right don't take any responsobility for Dr. Ben stepping in a huge pile of dog ****. Now the GOP will throw him under the bus. He served his purpose to showing what a "big tent" they have. Trump is all over this, like stink on what I mentioned earlier. He has been sacrificed by the RNC.

The dembs would love to see Carson nominated.

Nobody in their right mind thinks the GOP wants Carson. They want Jeb and no one else. That way they win if he wins, and they win if he loses, by being the permanent lackeys for the socialist agenda. As long as they maintain the power in the party, they don't mind that they're in the minority of the govt. Why would you ever run Dole, McCain, Romney, or Jeb if your goal was to win ?

People who actually have principles and don't hate traditional / constitutional America.....want Cruz, then Trump, then Carson. Trump and Carson aren't even great conservatives, just maybe 50-75 % dedicated to some of the values. Better than zero with Jeb, Rubio, Kasich, Christie, etc. Fiorina, Huckabee, Graham, have no reason to be in it.

Interesting idea.

So none of the bad folks are listening to him?

That's good.

What was it ... like two days ago some poll showed him in the lead?

... I'm sure that's just coincidence.
