You have done logic some justice.

It is possible to get a verbal nod for admission before any papers were ever filed.

I kind of like Carson. I'd vote for him over Trump. I know he's creationist or something. But it's the same awkward attraction I had to John McCain. I didn't vote for John, but I liked his speeches more than Obama's. I've voted independent last few elections. I voted for Ross Perot and Al gore.

I'm not sure what the context is behind his statement about Cuba. A lot of times you'll find these sites or ATS threads don't have hte context. Not knowing the context, it's hard to be objective about it.

My guess is, without exploring this more, he's saying Fox News gives people like him a voice, where otherwise the liberal media would shut him up, not through censorship, but through smearing and tarnishing his credibility. Granted, being a creationist, it's easy to swiftly sweep him away out of relevance, but it's more sinister than that, I fear. And of course if the democrats were given full freedom to rule our nation, we probably would be living under socialist-democratic institutions which while not being communist, are still substantially different in character than the ones we've known in the US since its formation.

A verbal nod does not a formal application, and acceptance, and a scholarship make. No. No, sir.

I now can not believe anything that comes out of his mouth. He should have stopped at retired neurosurgeon and author.
Kept some of his dignity.

So lying is an offense to get booted from the election.

Simple.

Wasn't just a few weeks ago someone was saying that all politicians lie? But now, we have to get rid of someone because of a lie?

This partisan panic is fun!

Right now, I'd still vote for Carson.

lol
you have never believed anything that came from his mouth but it has nothing to do with what he is saying but the fact that he believes in God is enough for you to knee jerk at anything that comes from his direction.

He is not a bad man and that bothers you much.

Misrepresenting your entire background and telling street-cred tales when they are CLEARLY not true, is more than lying. It's deliberate obfuscation of FACTS.

The kind of politician "lying" you're alluding to is the empty promises made at stump speeches.

Two entirely different things. I'm sure even Obama believed it when he said, "You can keep your doctor." It then turned out that didn't happen. But he did not make wildly exaggerated claims about HIS OWN PAST.

Carson has been thoroughly discredited.

You know better than that. I'm sorry you've been disappointed by someone you trusted, dick, I know how that feels. I felt that way for six years after trusting Obama, and have had to admit my utter disappointment in him.

We are discussing a man, a grown man with a fantastic resume, who MADE UP STORIES about his education AND his background (he wasn't the 'bully' he likes to portray himself as). Those two things alone far surpass ridiculous beliefs of Young Earth Creationism, evolution being a Satanic delusion, and grain-storage in pyramids.

It's too late.
It's too late for him. Egypt knows about him, the entire world knows about him. He will NEVER live this down. Ever.
Even if he'd kept his yap shut about his religion, this would STILL be a no-go dead halt.

You know that, dick. You know it in your heart of hearts. He's either making things up, misremembering them from a warped personal point of view, or just plain old lying.

It's okay, though - no harm in putting your confidence in someone who seems to share your values. We all get fooled once in awhile.

Love, Jill

Hadn't planned on it, LOL!!!

Next up, Cruz who is courting and consorting with anti-gay pastors, and is a religious panderer. He also thinks climate change is not science, but is instead a reliigon. He told Glenn Beck that.

After Cruz strikes out, it will be Huckabee - a lost cause by all accounts, and Jindal, his cohort in the polls. Cruz, Huckabee And Jindal Will Join Pastor Who Wants Gays Put To Death

And the pinch hitter is Trump - who is now being supported by the Seven-Mountain Dominionists.

Boyoboy are we getting Punked.
How any of you can still come on here and defend these guys is beyond me.

I don't think he's a "bad man." Not at all.
I think he's not suitable for the job of POTUS. I'm sure he's as nice as can be. I'd ask for his advice if my kid needed brain surgery. But he is way, way out of his league and can't be put out there with the big boys.

Does it matter that everything you post is factless?

You are really going over the edge on this.

That really makes no sense givin that he is leading in the poles and has done several debates and the left has to lie in order to create talking points to discredit him.

wtf are you talking about?

The facts are out. The links and sources are posted. He has been quoted. He admitted it.
That is a fact.

He was leading in the polls before today. Today a lot changed.
You've just got to get a grip, man. Get a grip. This is not "Kim Kardashian never wore a size 10."

This is contender for the POTUS.

He had previously been weighed, and measured, with due interest - but today he is publicly found wanting.

You mean the silly comment in your op?

That is weak and to deny the free speech that is granted to Americans would be silly.

Do you mean the hit piece politico made up?

That is shown to be total fabricated lie.

Are you saying that no grains were ever in the pyramids or that they were created solely to house a body?

Not many buy the theory that burial chamber was the sole reason for the pyramids.

I think you believe that he ever said that the earth is 6000yrs old.

I have never seen or heard him say that but he believes that God did create everything in six days and that theory has much in common with science but most fall short of understanding how such could be so they just poke the ideas with a stick.

How about you share your facts so that I can be released from my left-wing-poisoning telling me that he's a liar.

I've already provided sources which have links embedded that point back to original sources.

If I'm wrong and drinking liberalcohol, show me. Please, enlighten me.
You're my friend, right? Help me out here.

Perhaps I missed your links.

If you are referring to the politico piece then it is just fabricated lies.

Stating that it is possible for grain to have been stored in the pyramids is not a big deal.

Poor Dr. Ben has brought microscopic scrutiny down on himself. His biography will be gone over with a fine tooth comb and all his media questions will be directed at his past statements.

My favorite is how he tried to hit his mom in the head with a hammer to get some tough guy cred.

He will continue to be mocked with the pyramid deal from the "liberal media"....saddly it's his own damn fault; trying to portray himself as something he isn't.

Totally a response to Trump's fake tough guy persona.

so ironic...You just can't make this **** up!!!

This campaign season is shaping up to be fun.. I still miss Sarah! I hope she can find some way to get involved!!

edition.cnn.com...

An interview with CNN talking about them not being able to corroborate his past aggression and violence.

He says the vetting process for him is far more detailed than it was for Obama.
He says that he won't "out" the people who were witnesses/victims of his behavior'; he thinks it's pathetic.
He says they won't "find the people", but they can come forward if they want.....

and gets rather snippy with the interview. Sarcastic, even. He interrupted with saying it was a bunch of lies, and in regards to vetting and looking into background facts: "You did your job. Kudos."

He even cut her off and said, "Give. Me. A break...."
