Angels and men are totally different species.
Angels were never born, they never die.
Angels are pure spirit.
Humans are born, live as animal and spirit, and they die.
The human soul lives on eternally.

Angels don't become human and
humans don't become angels.

Angels can appear in human form, but
this is temporary.

I'm not Christian...but I do know that humans do not become angels. Sheeeesh people, read your own bible. For one, as DrHoracid said...man is a bit above the angels, as someone else said...the two are different species. Angels are neither male nor female do not die and are messages of their god....

Everyone here has posted correctly though; Man is supposed to be the panicle of the Angles, superior in every way. According to one psedupigraphal writing I can think of it actually states that Angles once stood in fear of man, prior to the fall. Christian forefathers even went so far as to eliminate stories from the Bible that taught that the Angles could assume human form to procreate with humans, which is what Genesis 6 is about. Everywhere it is mentioned in the Bible there is a clear distinction made that they are two different entities with the possible exception of the Nephilim which are supposed to possibly be an abomination crossing of the two, which caused God to call down the flood. I am not sure where the support for the title is in that quote from Revelation.

defcon5, your picture of a fallout shelter is apt, as it is thought by some that the flood around 14,000 years ago, that you just mentioned, was caused by advanced alien weaponary.

i think angels are souls in the mid to higher realms of spirit, so if this answers your question i would say people can become angels, depending on what realm they ascend or descend to after bodily death.
