One year ago, the FBI funded a new program that enlisted teachers and young students to search for potential sympathizers with terrorism and report their "findings" to the FBI.

After a year, the NY Times wrote their story on the gory results.

The F.B.I. is about to introduce an interactive program it developed for teachers and students, aimed at training them to prevent young people from being drawn into violent extremism. But Muslim, Arab and other religious and civil rights leaders who were invited to preview the program have raised strong objections, saying it focuses almost entirely on Islamic extremism, which they say has not been a factor in the epidemic of school shootings and attacks in the United States.

It's all cool! I'd, ..Personally spank any "youth" that bucks me. ..all day, and all day, long... Then I'd spank, thier "parents" for raising idiots. I'd feel no emotion about it.

The dangerous part is the question of what is their definition of extremism? Anyone with a dissenting view? Anyone who flippantly makes an anti-Obama/Government remark? Anyone antisocial? Anyone who doesn't fit in? As they say, "It's a slippery slope".

Yeah if out just beg the question it makes it sound horrible.

I personally agree that the F.B.I should probably stay out of our classrooms, but agree that teachers that see kids should report if they think they see something. Start at the local level though and yes not just kids saying bad things about the gov.
Would need much more then that.
