«Israel is the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance since World War II. To date, the United States has provided Israel $124.3 billion (current, or non-inflation-adjusted, dollars) in bilateral assistance.

«Almost all U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance, although in the past Israel also received significant economic assistance. Strong congressional support for Israel has resulted in Israel receiving benefits not available to any other countries.»

«In 2007, the Bush Administration and the Israeli government agreed to a 10-year, $30 billion military aid package for the period from FY2009 to FY2018. »

«There have been reports indicating U.S.-Israeli discussions over a possible future ten-year aid deal beyond FY2018. Israeli media sources have said that the United States and Israel have held “preliminary” discussions over future military assistance with Israel seeking between $4.2 billion and $4.5 billion in annual FMF - Foreign Military Financing.»

«For FY2016, the President’s request for Israel ($3.1 billion) would encompass approximately 53% of total requested FMF funding worldwide. »

U.S. Foreign Aid to Israel

In my opinion it's important for US public opinion to be ware of the massive support the US has been giving to an ally who doesn't respect international law and human right's. More ever, since June1967, US, against its internal and international laws, increased and maintains military support and/or aid, in various domains, to a state that illegally occupies a land that doesn't belong to them.

Turnig out to be, the above, a major instability factor that instead of contributing for peace, actually increases the violence and sense of injustice for the region.

How can you blame them? They're God's chosen people and it takes a lot of money to self-fulfill those prophecies in the bible. Everything is going according to plan so far. Good thing there are tons of Americans who support Israel because of the bible too, otherwise they wouldn't be able to fulfill them.

Just know that not all Americans approve of that funding and our numbers are growing.

That being said, you gotta know that it takes a lot of money to continually fund false-flag attacks against one's allies in order to get them to fight your wars.

Sadly this is one of the main reasons why most Americans back Israel because they think it will help bring about the end of times and the creation of Israel is just one of the signs.

Personally I think God has been blackmailing the U.S. for Israel because the cash & weapons are always useful for wiping out lesser religions and such haha

There is no logical reason for America to give aid to a wealthy nation like Israel. They have their own military complex so let these people who want to live there foot the bill for their own military. If people here in the states want to give money to Israel by all means do so but take the money out of your pocket and send it just don't use my tax dollars I want my tax dollars to help Americans. This borrowing money just to give it away needs to stop.

It's almost like they want a war to start and won't even try to stop it. Why? Because the bible says so.

Seems like the bible is a war manifesto more than anything. Obey authority and watch for (don't try to stop) war because it's what heralds in Jesus' return.

Sounds like something those waging the wars would want us to do: obey them and be complacent about war. All the while those in power fulfill the playbook in the bible and the people supporting them are none the wiser.

Well gee let's see....
Israel is the only country for thousands of miles that doesn't chant death to America in the streets.
I wonder if that has anything to do with it?.

You couldn't be more right. This is one of the main reasons why we need to get religion out of politics.

Why would they chant death to America? We're giving them billions of dollars per year. Lol.

I wonder which member will be the first out of the box with the comment that this is just more atheistic, Jew bashing antisemitism and ignoring the gist of the article.

The Palestinians got half a billion in 2014.
Didn't seem to stop them much.
Egypt got several billion.
The jihad is still strong with them.
and don't even get me started on Saudi Arabia

And it's our support of Israel that has them chanting that.

Go figure!

I'm always astonished at how conservatives will whine about socialism and feeding the poor, Social Security, Medicare and other social programs for Americans; but never a word about the US financing Israels socialism, health care, military and infrastructure thru foreign aid.

There are many nations that doesn't chant death to America and we only give them pocket change. It couldn't be because organizations like AIPAC and others buy our politicians is the reason why money keeps flowing to Israel could it?

Where are you coming up with this rubbish of a Jewish hate thread. The OP has a right to point to the fact that the US is giving massive amounts of the tax payers money to Israel.

This isn't about people's opinions or fiction.

These are cold hard facts. So if you claim it's a Jewish hate thread then you must recognise yourself that these facts paint a sickening picture.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with a culture that promote jihad as one of its basic beliefs.
I guess you interpret jihad as hugging the infidels into submission?

If we give them so much money, would they cease to exist on their own if we stopped? I mean, with that kind of money, do they even have to create their own wealth/industries?
