Don't Feel It

I don't feel like writing today,
I think I'll give my pen a rest.
My mind is in such disarray,
I think it's for the best.

I'm feeling discombobulated,
My mind is running in overtime,
And I just don't feel motivated,
To write down what's on my mind.



Forgive Me

Forgive me for being no more than I am,
This is all I've ever known to be.
For not wanting to rise above other men,
For not wanting more then I'll ever need.

Had I known these things mattered to you,
I would've aspired to sit with the kings,
But alas, I'm just an emotional fool,
Who can offer no more than my heart it seems. .



Make me Cry

You make me cry, the things you do,
Tears flow like rivers from my eyes.
Can't understand, the path you choose,
It hurts inside, you make me cry.

You make me weep, the things you say,
Your words, they are so cruel and deep,
They cut through me, like an icy blade,
The words you speak, you make me weep
