yes there is if you read the Bible it tells us what happened the day after the 7th day.

And you couldn't hold an honest discussion on the subject because you do not believe the bible is truth and without errors.

A simple reading from Genesis Chapter two and three reveal it is the 8th day. Christians know this because the understand the DNA of man has its resident evil inherent called sin.

How long does it take any man to sin?

I like your reasoning, there is no truth so lets bash it and belittle that which we don't understand. Instead of delving into the text and holding a rational discussion (oh yeah that just takes to much effort) so let's have fun with it instead.

Yeah, I'd love to see you try publishing that in scientific American. It would be like a special edition of shark tank guest starring bill nye and Neil degrasse. I'd pay to witness that exchange. Except it should be a marathon of you, Thelamb, servantofthelamb, randy, and a few others who claim on a regular basis to have a better understanding of science than actual certified experts.

I'm just curious as to why you haven't given any credit too the members that did take the time to try and give a educated response.
I would also think you could have added some easy references of your own to encourage folks that have never read the answer you state is so clearly written as other members have. Then you may have opened the door to a good discussion with people that understand what you may be referring too.

The third Chapter continues the narrative in Chronological order, no need to believe otherwise, it would be the 8th day.

Chapter four is the generation of Adam that covers the after Adam left the Garden, giving birth to his twin sons Cain and Able (one conception and two barrings. So this would cover about 9 months from conception and then about 20 years when Cain killed Adam.. Chapter five covers generations to just before the world wide flood evident by the fossil record.

On the 8th day, God took his Arch Angels out for a round of golf and left the Devil in charge. The Devil opened the gates of Hell and everyone ran to church to call on God. But God left his cell phone on the kitchen table! So we left a message. I don't think he's checked his voice mail in awhile.

that which cannot be proven by science, cannot be proven. it is true that the human species is still mastering the applications of scientific methodology, but the results are incontrovertible. thats why we continue to invest in legitimate sciences, unlike others that insist on being awarded the same honor for nothing. particularly hypotheses that happily enjoy the credit for others research and hard earned reputation while being both unrelated and untested. verified by association, i guess you could call it. a cheap strategy made all the more astounding by how easily it sells.

but this is getting off topic. i postulated, in good humor, that god died on the 8th day. the traditional kind of dying, where you enjoy that thing we call "pushing up daisies". if you want to address that response, feel free.

As for my thoughts… based on his past works, perhaps he created another civilization on a different planet, didn't like his own creation, got bratty about the whole thing, and then killed them off in overly malicious ways? Oh, and then after they died they got to have an eternity of punishment. Man, that dude is just bad at making stuff, and has got some self loathing issues as well.

The only conflict I see with this interpretation is that this implies that we know when the end will be nigh, when Jesus clearly said that nobody knows only the Father. So that is why I am puzzled as to how we could measure when we will be close to rapture. On the other hand, we can also say that those who have eyes and ears to see and listen will know.

Understanding that everything is permitted with God then both lengths can be true. In the end, it doesn't matter since we are supposed to follow the teachings regardless.
