Walk Alone


My world is yours, take what you wish,
My thoughts, my words, I give to you.
But always remember, this never forget,
You'll never be me, no matter what you do.


A pretender, who has no sense of himself,
Who is lost and unsure most of the time,
Takes what he can from someone else,
He will never be whole or genuine.


You can have my words, and my philosophy,
Take those things, make them your own,
But you'll never know what it is to be me,
For that is a path that I must walk alone.
