I don't agree with much of Sanders policies but I believe he is sincere. Shame the feminists have to attack him on BS.

If I had to pick one of the two, I would have to pull the lever for Sanders.

Emily’s List Official Accuses Bernie Sanders Team of Sexism

Stephanie Schriock, the president of the group Emily’s List, which helps elect female candidates to public office, has seized on joking comments made by Senator Bernie Sanders’s campaign manager about vetting Hillary Rodham Clinton for his vice-presidential nominee.

“Look, she’d make a great vice president,” the campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, said of Mrs. Clinton to John Heilemann of Bloomberg Politics. “We’re willing to give her more credit than Obama did. We’re willing to consider her for vice president. We’ll give her serious consideration. We’ll even interview her.”

On Wednesday, Ms. Schriock wrote on Twitter that the comments were a “Condescending insult by a team who knows better.”

“Hillary is possibly most qualified ever to run & Americans know it,” she wrote.

Mrs. Clinton has tweaked Mr. Sanders as suggesting that she was “shouting” about gun control, an accusation he vehemently denied and which riled up his aides.

I may not have much in common with Mr. Sanders...But he is more qualified than Hillary. At least Bernie Sanders isn't a criminal.

Hillary is running on her gender. I's not like she has any accomplishments. I'm no a fan of Sanders, but a least he stands for something other than his gender.

Given that the average Kanye' Kardashian voter bases their choice on skin color or genitalia, I am certainly not surprised with this comment by the racist bigoted extremist....because she clearly is living every day like a true citizen of opposite-to-reality world.

And this ego BS right here is why I don't listen to feminists (aside from not needing to be told by militant pearl-clutchers how to think as a female in the first place) All I see there is a quick joke about considering Billary for VP. Where feminists see sexism is beyond me, but hey, they can go ahead & overreact. Just lends credence to the overreacting little girl stereotype by becoming it themselves. Bleeping idiots.

Feminists can be a threat to free speech. They like to go after people who mean well when they should be going after real issues, like the treatment of women in the Middle-East and certain, more important issues in the U.S. They can take things way too seriously while simultaneously ignoring gigantic issues at times.

Where did Stephanie actually accuse Sanders of sexism? It sounds like she was just complaining about his team being condescending.

If he was a Republican and a capitalist. I'd agree 100% and engage outrage. However, he is a Democrat and socialist, so I'm going to discount this completely and attack the accuser (which is uncharacteristic because I'd usually defend the accuser)

Monica Lewinski slept with Bill Clinton, worked in government, has female genitalia and has lied less than Hillary.

I'd say she's more qualified to be president than her.

Screw Democracy and the homeless and starving. let them eat cake. I got mine. I'm invested in the military industrial complex and the wars should never end. The future is so bright I've got to wear shades.

People that support someone just because they have a vagina or because of their skin color make me want to vomit.

It is because most Americans don't really understand how serious all the scandals are and what it will entail if she is elected President. She should stand down and retire quietly because she is untrustworthy as a leader for the American Nation.

I don't think the title of the article is accurate. She never said Bernie or his team were sexist. She did falsely state that Bernie shouted at Hillary during the debate, nothing of the sort happened. It's also not condescending to say they would consider her for VP or that she would make a great VP... he wants to win, is he supposed to endorse her by saying she would make a great President?

Even if she said he and his team were sexist, she doesn't speak for all feminists or even all feminist groups. Plenty of feminists support Bernie.

From my understanding, it was Hilary that called Sanders on his comment that Hilary was shouting. Hilary's retort was that it appears that when any woman speaks, Sanders hears shouting. Interestingly, Sanders and Hilary claim to be friends, so Maybe Hilary knows where these comments stem. With friends like that who needs enemies.

Yeah, Hillary's people are grasping at straws here. Bernie's no sexist.

a reply to: InTheLight

Yeah, that didn't happen. Bernie was talking about "people on both sides" shouting about mass shootings and gun control. Hillary took it personally and made it into an excuse to bash Bernie.

Bernie's statement:

“While there is no simple fix, that does not mean we should do nothing. The status quo clearly is not working and people on both sides of this issue cannot simply continue shouting at each other.
Source

Now, where does he mention or insinuate he was talking about Hillary???

To everyone - PLEASE don't judge all feminists by what this Angie person says... This is about politics, not feminism.

I thought you required at least a single accusation of fraud if not a history of drugs and sexual assault to run for president in America? O.o

I'm sure Hillary IS on one side of the issue. Most people are. No one in particular was shouting. Although people HAVE shouted about mass shootings and gun violence... That's what he was talking about.

Sanders was discussing mass shootings and saying that he thinks the two sides can reach an agreement if we really try. He wasn't even talking about Hillary AT ALL. Read his statement. You'll see he wasn't talking about Hillary.
