Funny thing is though, many of those complaining the USA aren't doing enough are those who disparage them for doing too much.

Why is the glorious and mighty USAF not bombing the oil refineries under ISIS which gets thems 100s of millions of dollars in revenues to pay for foot soldiers and buy new weapons?

They're owned by Iraq who might have an objection.

Not all many are in syria. Problem is locals depend on these wells for survival. Then let's not forget the environmental disaster of setting oils fields ablaze with no means to put them out. You would do severe damage to local populations. The other reason is if these oil fields are destroyed most are in rebel territories that are fighting isis. Want to cause them to join isis as well? And if they defeat isis and the oil wells were destroyed the rebels are done.

Syria is a mess a lot of factions are fighting with the US they found trying to train rebels isn't working. So now they are trying a different strategy work with the kurds who have had great success in pushing back Isil. As far as policies go this is much more sound than arming and training Syrian fighters who tend to run more than fight. The other reason for the change simple the Russians can't attack the kurds if there is a fear of killing US troops. Since these special forces guys could be attached to a unit for air support

These don't have to be destroyed but crippled enough to halt production.

You've proved my point, rather than taken it.

Thanks

So Americans where mad when troops where in irak, he takes them out, people get mad.

Americans didint want boots in syria so he didint send any, americans start calling him weak, then he sends in the troops.

Dont change people, its comedy hour at its best.

Americans did not change. The MSM changed the narrative.
