Take it Back


Just take it back, take back your life.
Don't let go of what makes you you.
Don't have regrets that you didn't do,
Exactly what you wanted to.

Just do it, take it back, one day at a time.
An hour, a minute, whatever you can,
To remember who you are again,
To dream as you did, way back when.

For it's not about the dream you have,
The feeling, that's what it's about,
To remember things about yourself,
That maybe you were starting to doubt.

Just take it back, take back your life,
Don't let go of what makes you you,
Don't have regrets that you didn't do,
Exactly what you wanted to.
