Apparently, a motion has been presented to impeach the head of the IRS.

As the intense 'love' of the IRS is generally a bi-partisan issue and no one seems to have noticed or couldn't care less, I thought I'd pick up the slack.

Any chance this passes the house? The Senate?

Is this a move in retaliation for Boehner's two year budget sell-out? Perhaps the start of Congress getting more active....less flat-lined in the Presidential elections efforts?

I like the idea of dominos lined up and perched on the edge. It would warm my heart to see the crooks taken to task. The Republicans are making a last ditch effort in prep for the upcoming elections. They have to have some history of fighting the establishment.

He wouldn't get impeached if he was doing what he was told.

It stinks, all the way up. Don't trust it.

That may very well be true.

Still, if he's been hung out to dry by TPTB, then so be it!

One down will give pause to the replacement...better than nothing....

It's not going to pass. Republicans just like yelling "impeachment" usually followed by "high crimes and misdemeanors".

The system is too far gone- 53 years ago the president was shot in the head in broad daylight for resisting the 'powers' that be, and replaced with a puppet who better followed their demands. That was a lifetime ago- the system of manipulation and control has gotten a lot more sophisticated.

If anyone in a position of power gets impeached, it will only serve to put a better puppet in their place.
Sweeping policy changes aren't as questionable when the new boss comes in.

At the very least, it's just a distraction, and something to make the 'people' feel like the IRS is being punished while a big pile of # is escorted under our noses.

I kind of hope this is the start to a really good show. I also hope it does not take forever to see something happen or at least for them to say nothing will happen. None of this edge of our seat bull.

It might be a good idea to see who might be leaving the IRS early, see what rats are jumping ship, and see where they swim off too.

Lord, we are cynics....LOL.

Not without reason, however. Still, it is better than the nothing that Congress has done up to now.

Not true. The IRS is the non-government enforcement arm of the Federal Reserve. Nothing will happen to it and no one will be put in jail.

Who will impeach the impeachers?

Let he (or she) who is without crime cast the first ballot.

Perhaps. yet the 'head' of the IRS is appointed by the Executive branch and therefore is impeachable.

I believe there is a chance this not only carried through the Congress but also the Senate, if for no other reason than the partisan attack on Republican supporting groups.

That action crosses the line for even RHINOs. Even if the impeachment fails in the long run, the message is clear to the left that this goes too far.

Nothing but positives as a result of this effort, not to mention the bi-partisan dislike for that entity over-all and it's collateral damage to the left in the presidential race.

Isn't it impolite to answer a question with a question? LOL.

I'm not the subject here, but to answer you, not even close, neither "Christian" nor Christian.

Now, who's left in Congress that hasn't committed acts of their own that constitute "high crimes and misdemeanors"?
