Looks like the stats have changed a bit in the last few weeks.... it is 65% men now, 14% Women, and 20% children. This is directly from the UNHCR.

From what I read in the articles, I don't think the people who buy all those guns and other measures of self defense are afraid of terrorists but rather 'normal' criminals.

I never stated WE EXCLUSIVELY saved anything ,without the US the Nazis would have OWNED Europe.
WE all worked together in both conflicts and we BOTH needed to do so.

Hey, you'll ruin their fearmongering. They intentionally leave out criminal gangs, the Camorra, and other organized crime organizations that terrorize European businesses & communities. It's much easier to blame Muslims for all of their perceived problems when they're too scared to speak on the actual threats in those neighborhoods.

That depends on what country you're talking about, situations are different from country to country.

Austrians aren't imbecile, mindless robots [because that is implied by those that spout the notion that none of them may have had personal experiences they are acting upon, rather than being 'influenced by the media'].

Austria, just like every other European country used to be special. You used to feel safe there, there was civility. Sure they, like anywhere else had home-grown crime. But those crimes were predictable and far less.

Newcomers arrive and crime shoots up, that is extra crime and it is unpredictable. Who would expect someone you just helped to rape you?
Do not brush this under the carpet. Culture has to be taken into account. There are men out on the loose, from a culture in which white, unbeliever women are probably the last thing on the list they'd safe in a fire. They also believe that all white, unbeliever women are sluts who deserve no respect.

Most of those men [hopefully] are human enough to recognise that you don't just go round taking what you want. But there are far more men amongst the newcomers who are just feral compared to European standards. To deny this is to put women of Europe into danger.

Had I not have had a knife held to my throat by a Turkish muslim after he said something very disgusting to me [didn't understand but it was obvious what he meant, by tone of voice and hand gestures], or been talked to 'dirty' by Africans that suddenly appeared in the late 80s, took over a safe part of town and turned it into a drug dealers Disney land [I estimate about 20+ dealers hanging out, soliciting and suggesting sexual things to any woman, making a place I used to walk through alone at night into a complete NO- GO zone within weeks], I might be more lenient.

But I and many others have got information from the people themselves, rather than the media. And if the Austrian women feel the need to arm themselves, I can only surmise that the 'proper' info is not pretty.

What a shame that they have to go that far, but I would too if I lived in an area with too many migrants.
