First to the OPs claim of the make up of the refugees are 75% unaccompanied males, this is false.

UNHCR’s data show that 50.5 percent of refugees are women. Females age 18 to 59 make up 23.9 percent of the refugees, while males in that age group make up 21.8 percent.
Even younger males — age 12 to 17 — represent 6.5 percent of refugees, while females that age are 6.1 percent. The majority of refugees — 51.1 percent — are under age 17, including 38.5 percent who are younger than 12 years old.

Second, a terror group like ISIS with money would not waste time sneaking with refugees they would just fake paper and fly in like every terrorist has done since the 1970s.
And third if terrorist really were coming, shot guns are not much use against car bombs or suicide bombers.
72% of refugees fleeing war and oppression are men
The breakdown is
72% men
13% women
15% children

The Swedish police recently released a map of 55 areas where they publicly admit to having surrendered control to the criminal gangs. These areas have long had problems with mailmen, fire trucks and ambulances being attacked when trying to enter, which has led to them routinely requesting police escort. Now it’s the police being attacked outright. A new trend is also to map out police homes and families to intimidate and discourage policework, police say.

From what I read in the articles, I don't think the people who buy all those guns and other measures of self defense are afraid of terrorists but rather 'normal' criminals.

I can tell you first-hand that anyone seeking a firearm for self-defence in Western Europe would be a very suspect person to the authorities. But, that being said... Anyone can spout BS.
