okay, then that group of people over there that are proclaiming to be speaking for all you christians that are working so hard to transform our country into a "christian nation".
is that better??

We already are a Christian nation.

I guess in your world kim should have just quit and hired the eeoc

I see a big difference in all the cases you present and there is no one size fits all answer.

rowan co.

the couple live in Lexington

I can not remember their names but if you google their names they both live in Lexington which is not in rowan co.

Your answer is that I'm supposed to google some names you haven't even provided?

Look, I spent a long time on a good faith effort googling looking for this information the last time this allegation was made here. I couldn't find it and no one could provide a link. And you're not backing it up now either.

So until further notice I call BS.

Fair enough
I think you did get the map that shows Lexington is outside of rowan co.

now I do not remember their names either except carman and the last name Collins

to be fair yesterday I scoured through 3 or 4 links about their marriage and not one mention of their names however in the other thread I did repost the responses showing this to be true.

here we go

you will notice the dates I reposted was in conjunction with your last request in the other thread
I should have pm it to you either way there names are there along with other info

It seems that most believe that kim should have resigned but that does not account for the people that voted her and her beliefs into office. Meaning that if the peeps that voted her in were put off by her actions then a recall election would do the job. There has always been a power struggle between the states and the fed and the only power the states have is to vote in people that have a strong back bone.

We must not let all these small challenges to the system leed us to a place that we would never go on our own. These two muslims took a job that had in the job description to deliver such and they only quit because they found it easier to sue than to do their job. Now kim had worked in the office for 25yrs before getting elected and never in those 25 yrs was gay marriage an issue. The pharmacist imo do not have a legit leg to stand on because every pill they disperse is basically poison and choosing to give one drug vrs another is not much logic. They knew they would have to do such on birth control because it has always been an issue.

Here are some of the original threads on the non deliverers I could not find when I made the thread

It seems in the second thread there sever posters have had experience with star and they are a forced dispatch company...

that would be in serious contrast to the eeoc ruling that they should have changed their business model to suit the couple.

well, according to justice kennedy, she should have resigned....

Though he never mentioned her by name, Justice Anthony Kennedy, a conservative jurist appointed by Ronald Reagan, said very clearly that government officials like Ms. Davis, who find they have a moral objection to complying with a law, have only one choice: follow the law or resign.

Justice Kennedy, who has been the deciding vote in several recent gay rights decisions, made his pronouncement Wednesday at a Harvard Law School forum. A student questioner asked him whether government officials who disagree with the Supreme Court decisions on marriage equality or abortion have the “authority to act according to her own judgment” of whether the law is moral.

While Justice Kennedy noted that officials who are required to “enforce a law that they believe is morally corrupt” face "difficult moral questions," he insisted they do not have a Constitutional right to refuse to comply with the law. ThinkProgress reports that the justice alluded to the historical fact that very few German judges had the courage to resign from the Nazi government because they had moral objections, suggesting to the audience that people who resign for matters of conscience should be admired. gn

and technically, kimmie was an elected official not an employee, therefore the EEOC wouldn't have been able to help her...

so Obama sues him.

Very sad that Obama would sue for this.

Obama didn't sue anyone. He has nothing to do with this.

Get the facts straight...

Kim was not at all offered accommodations. If she was then she would have never went to jail.

YOU get the facts straight. She was told that her deputies could issue them instead of her and she REFUSED that accommodation. She PROHIBITED her deputies from issuing marriage licenses.

Yes Obama has a dog in this fight.
You claim that she was told that her deputies could issue but you forget that that was after they threw her in jail and before jail her lawyer is the one who brought the idea to the judge of having deputies perform the signing but they denied her and said if she does not do it herself she will go to jail.

that does not mean much

many people think she should have stepped down but the majority of the people that believe that did not vote for her and the ones that did still support her. that is the will of the people and what most do not account for anymore

take a look at those links and gander at how the whole mood of ats has changed over the last few yrs. it is kinda scary

If they were made aware that they would have to deliver beer as part of their job and took it anyway they shouldn't have gotten anything. Sounds like they took the job and then brought up their religion to be a problem to their employer and then took the legal lottery route and won. I wonder how people who claim to be Muslims work in and own so many party stores.
