yeah...someone shoulda pointed out to him that there are some genre's of music you stage dive in, some you don't.

Woulda went down the same at a country show. Not so much at a Ramones concert.

I give this man 8.5 points for the dive.

He begins with the classic crucifix position, showing good technique and poise. The distance he achieved was excellent, although I note that he was assisted by the gentleman in the crowd. The crowd participation and landing were both poor but he possibly took out a couple of revellers with him.

As to why he was there maybe he just likes the music. Getting older doesn't mean that you stop listening to tunes. I've heard some great stuff in the last 20 years. My kids turn me on to stuff I may not hear. I love them for Slipknot and Stone Sour. I turned THEM on to Protest the Hero though.

But when it comes to the times... be your age man. I personally don't get stage diving and mosh pits. I can still be there to dig the music though.

Hilarious.
So 1997 the same thing happened to my buddy at a Blink 182 concert. He snuck up on stage the band paused, then Tom Delong told him to take off his pants. Well it looked like my bud was gonna do it but instead he just took off his shoes...everyone booed then he jumped off the stage...and only found concrete to great him...chipped his two front teeth....last time he ever did coke....😉
