In the 1970's there was an experiment done by some parapsychologist in Toronto. They attempted to create a spirit entity by inventing a deceased person, creating a biography for it and concentrating on it.

Then they attempted to contact the "entity". Which apparently they did succesfully! It made raps on the table, and answered questions by knocking the table once or twice (yes or no) after each question. Very interesting experiment!!!

Looks to me that they were just creating an egregore (an advanced thoughtform)

fascinating, btw I noticed that in the end of the article it also said that it was possible that "another" spirit/entity could have decided to just go along with it and play the part.
