Antimatter powered Cube Sat coming in 2019

This is brilliant if you think about it. a minimalist antimatter reactor system. Still the knowledge and experience with each subsystem necessary for a full blown antimatter propulsion system should translate into at least incremental improvements in the technology and engineering so that future systems might be bigger and more powerful. it avoids the things that for now would require technology not in evidence such as macro-scale containment systems.

When you think of antimatter reactors you think either the version in star trek or the somewhat more realistic concept designs like the venturestar or the tethered beamed core reactor. But these guys avoided all that unavailable tech by going with a much smaller much simpler system. One that none the less moves the ball forward sharply.
