What if they can't stand either and break for Donald?

You honestly think Donald can get the GOP nomination?

I don't know. I know he has a lead at the moment over the establishment blue bloods and right behind him is Carson.

That's a very good question.. I know where I most assuredly don't want that 20% to go.

Though I'm fearful that somehow or other, by hook or by crook, Clinton is going to get the dem nod.

I doubt either one.

But, Hey! This is the group that gave us Sarah Palin for Vice President. So, expect anything.

The Democratic party is doing everything it can to keep Bernie from getting the nomination, . . .

The bottom line is - - - Bernie is a Jewish Socialist.

This country isn't going to vote for him.

Nice! I didn't even know he was Jewish until you brought it up. I only cared about his political philosophy. However, you might consider it was similar socialists who gave the world the USSR.

My guess is that Joe's polling numbers are people that don't like Hillary. Hillary and Joe are pretty close on most issues and both establishment politicians. I know it could go either way that establishment polling numbers could go to the next establishment candidate, but I have a feeling Sanders will get most of them. Well, that's my hope anyways. I truly believe that Biden's support were people that do not like Clinton and even though he's not establishment, Sanders not being Hillary will be enough for him to pick up those numbers and that support, just as I believe he'll pick up Webbs. We'll have to see where it looks next week.

I don't think his religion matters much.

Bernie's really similar to founder of the Bilderberg Group and the EU:
Joseph H. Retinger - Polish Socialist; Founder o/t European Movement; Cofounder of the Bilderberg

His supporters want to believe the elite are all capitalists, but they aren't. Decades of misdirection have been pretty successful. The Elite are socialists -- Fabian socialists.

I think the left is also making a mistake to think that just because a supporters candidate pulls out that all the people who would have voted for that person will automatically migrate to another Democrat candidate.

They may become apathetic and not vote. The Republicans have learned this lesson for a couple of cycles now.

Democrats may not always be the good little party-loyal sheep they've come to expect. They may become disaffected and dispirited too.

All the bitching I hear about Obama. When Hillary gets elected, people are gonna reminisce about the good ol' days under Obama.

It's a well-known fact that democrats eat their own. I know. I was eaten.

I hate to admit, but you're probably right. The electoral college is locked for the Democrats, so they'll likely take the WH no matter what the GOP does.

The writing on the wall, so to speak, was apparent quite some time ago. Unless there are some major, dramatic changes in the political landscape in the near future, the Dems win the WH. That is why I posted a thread predicting as much.

I was wrong on one point and that was Trump would fall off and someone like Walker would fill the void. So far Trump is still leading the pack. I know why, but had a bit more faith in my Right-Wing buddies than I should have given.

They'll try everything they can to convince us that Hillary is more popular and doing better, but from what I've seen more registered Democrats like Bernie.

The Democratic party is doing everything it can to keep Bernie from getting the nomination, they're doing their version of what the GOP did to Ron Paul essentially.

Yes, I see a lot of Sanders yard signs and talk to a lot of people that really like his policies. His speeches are good, but it's the policies and ideas that are attractive.

Even though you are correct on the correlation to Ron Paul, the Dems seem to be a bit more tolerant of his candidacy than the GOP was of RP. The GOP simply didn't acknowledge RP, but the Dems do Bernie.

My guess is that she won't be any better or any worse than any other president. She's an evil corrupt hag, but there are 3 branches of government.

Well we elected a Catholic with JFK -- and people were pretty adamant about not having a Catholic in the WH due to possible influence from the Pope.

Step 1: Obama on 60 minutes claims to lead on climate change is above leading the world to peace.

Step 2: Biden bows out.

Step 3: Hillary leaves the Bengazi hearing on a stretcher and bow out of the race because of the war on women and harm the Republicans raked on her.

Step 4: VP Gore (climate change king) declares the race for the presidency.

We're all being played.

I liked how Obama was right beside him like he was babysitting. You know, so Joe didn't screw up his statement of not running. I think he even learned forward to say good job Joe when it was over.

Catholic still basically Christian and he wasn't a socialist.

You know it would be exploited. "Polite" prejudice finds its way.

But, this thread is not about Bernie.

Democratic Socialist is a lot different than communist- it's basically what most European countries have and they were fine until we sold them all our bogus sub-prime mortgage investments and they got on the Euro.
