Just turned on the boob tube and saw the headline that Joe Biden will not run for President. I type as he speaks, and it sounds he is making his opening argument to be President of the United States. lol. Sounds pretty good.

So I guess we are down to 4.

Go Bernie.

Well that blows.
Crazy Joe would have made this election fun.

Joe Biden has a long history of authoring/sponsoring horrible legislation central to the "War on Drugs." I can't say I'm unhappy to see that he's not running.

You don't think it's fun already?

I don't really care one way or another if Joe runs. I think it was wise to take as much time as he did to decide. This is a BAD time to be grabbing for the wheel, IMO. This train is on a collision course and I'm not sure if anyone can pull it out.

But just in case... Go Bernie!

Interesting. They've been polling him for months. I wonder where his 20%+ will align.

I've never seen so much media attention given to an announcement that someone IS NOT running. CNN guy had to back-track wearing egg on his face a few minutes ago. Earlier today he announced that "sources" assured him that Joe is running. LOL.

Good point. I would wager that most go to Hillary. Joe is closer to her in politics than to Bernie.

That would make sense. But I wonder how many Joe supporters had rejected Hillary and her email scandal.

The next polls will be interesting.

That didn't sound like he wasn't running.

After his first sentence...The rest was a Campaign Speech.

This is what I said on the other thread..

I'm watching the press conference right now. I really liked what he had to say and the way he said it.
I'm also shocked to say I'm disappointed that he isn't running. And I have to admit I am a wee bit confused by that.

This will most def make things more interesting.

It's just his un-clever way of calling Bernie a socialist.

They are just keeping him on hold until after clitons testimony.

Not surprising at all. Seems like it's been a forgone conclusion that it was going to be Hillary from the beginning. Bottom line. I hope Bernie gives her hell, even though I despise socialism. I'll be supporting the constitutional candidate.... lol!

Unfortunately that now clears Hillary to be elected POTUS in 2016. It will be Hillary(D) vs Rubio (R) vs Trump(I). The Republican establishment will drive Trump from the party umbrella because they don't want an "outsider" representing the party. That will piss off Trump that he will rescind on his pledge not to go Independent. He will siphon off enough votes from Rs and that will get Hillary elected (also with the help of the CFR). It will be a close one though between Hillary and Donald, but TPTB will have their chosen one.

Good for Joe. I never thought he should run. I think he's a great guy who can do more in other ways. Hope he just enjoys the rest of his life.

While I personally align with Bernie, I just don't think he is strong enough to take on what's going on at the presidential level. (opinion: don't want to derail thread).

What would he be campaigning for?

That's meant to be a serious question.
