Anyone else finds it amusing that 'Obama' was not mentioned once in the talk? Has a media member even asked him about CMUs?

It's probably not a concern of his, honestly.

Isn't this how they did it in Nazi Germany?

The only difference I see is that the Nazis "allowed" lots of Jews one standard size piece of luggage to fill with their most precious belongings and allowed them several months of silent respite in the ghetto before they were woken at wee hours to be herded to the train to the camps...swallowing everything bite sized first since this next leg oddly had them leave their valuable suitcases behind.

I guess the gun game that has begun is the first attempt at rounding up important belongings? They've taken most people's money already.

Honestly though? I am pretty convinced by the majority of supposed conspiracy theories happening nowadays but I think fear is being directed at what's happening to these 60-70 prisoners when there are much more compelling atrocities needing attention. I don't think wrongfully throwing these people in there is due to evil chaotic nwo future plans NEARLY as much as I really do think it's just another embarrassingly moronic piecce of insurance kept up the sleeve for when eventually lawsuits...mega ones will pour in accusing the gov of profiling, racism, brutal environment etc. So they can get suits thrown out saying, "Us? No way! For gosh sake your neighbor is a white man who wouldn't hurt a fly...LITERALLY!"

But I do acknowledge the huge danger in the act of imprisonment for thinking the wrong thing...yikes!

FBI Arrests Animal Rights Activists as Domestic Terrorists
I'm sure the government will say that it's sorry and this will never happen again.

73 inmates across a couple of facilities. Somehow I feel this isn't much a threat to little Ole me.

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Secret Prisons: This is not garbage. Not just 73 people ONLY across the board.

Here's one location and information for those interested:

Does it mention anywhere that these people have had their rights violated? Pretty loose words used in the OP to describe terrorist activities. It sounds to me like these are all convicted felons that have had their communication with the outside world curtailed for reasons regarding their conviction. They are still allowed 4 hours a month to communicate with the outside world.

Not all convicted felons.
"Homan Square revealed: how Chicago police 'disappeared' 7,000 people"

Police “disappeared” more than 7,000 people at an off-the-books interrogation warehouse in Chicago, nearly twice as many detentions as previously disclosed, the Guardian can now reveal.

From August 2004 to June 2015, nearly 6,000 of those held at the facility were black, which represents more than twice the proportion of the city’s population. But only 68 of those held were allowed access to attorneys or a public notice of their whereabouts, internal police records show.

They bastardized the election process with electronic vote rigging and we didn't do anything.

They instituted Free-Speech zones and nobody did anything.

They put drones in our skies and we didn't do anything.

They censor the Internet and our daily news and we don't do anything.

They murder our countrymen in mass and we don't do anything.

They send our military to die for their ill gotten riches and we don't do anything.

They pit black against white, Muslims against Christians, Homosexual against Heterosexual, left against right and we allow it to happen.

They poison our food, our water supply and our skies and we just sit.

Talk is cheap. The world is full of useless eaters and they know it.

An outstanding post, too damn true!!

Once a Government no longer trusts its own citizens, is it still a Government of the people? Once a Government is willing to silence anyone who disagrees with it, is it still looking out for its citizens best interest? If a Government requires more and more time-money-sacrifice while giving less and less back, is it still valid to those from whom it takes?

So long as we are given bread and circuses, and so long as we do not know anyone directly affected with lose of liberty, and so long as we accept empty promises and meaningless gestures then whom do we have to truly blame for what comes next as more and more are silenced.

You are fast becoming a real corporate-fascist state .The big problem to us (non americans) is you relentless effort to export this sick model to the whole world. We already had our fascist "era" in the past, and we don't really need another. Please stop exporting your "democracy"! Please say no to TTIP! Please wake up and start fighting against the sociopaths that sits at the top of your "pyramid"..Capitalism has failed.Libertarian socialism is the only solution.

They aren't secret, or prisons. As Mr. Potter was helpful enough to explain, they are limited communication units designed to stop the fomenting of terrorism outside the prison. We don't have to put up with any such nonsense as allowing terrorists to continue to incite hate and murder in their followers or recruiting more terrorists. This man is a complete idiot. The most important task for our government is to keep us safe from such people. They got their trial, now STFU terrorists. Don't ask me for sympathy, I'd just hang them.

These are units inside of very public prisons like Super Max in Florence CO, imagine that, I have actually visited there as a vendor, and Marion Illinois. Some douche weasel has taken an acronym and made it sound far more disturbing than the actual reality of it. The Uni Bomber is in CMU, among others, it is a level of corrective custody in the Bureau of Prisons.

No Secret Prisons here folks, you can find both of those places on the map.

Talk is very cheap, what do you plan to do? Are you the leader of a group, that would like to put a candidate up for election? Or are you just here to type cheap azz partisan bovine feces on the net. My guess would be keyboard warrior.

Some of us work everyday to make the world a better place, and some sit in front of their computers feeling sorry for what they have failed to accomplish.

A quick read here will show theres some paranoid people thinking that opinions are getting everyone in trouble.

Not yet, but everything you type is being recorded deep in the computer bowels somewhere, for future reference.

On that Terra Haute Unit… start reading here and the one below…

It was physically situated in the former death row section, and all but two of the inmates are Arab Muslims, leading the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to raise a concern about racial profiling.

Wiki

They want to manage their communications to find out if they are connected with other terr groups…

The sorts of cases include:

Cases involving material support of terrorist groups like Hamas or Hezbollah (and various charity frauds)

Various murder, bank robbery, and drug cases.
Ed Ross of the Bureau of Prisons said the units were designed for the following offenses:[5]
