It looks like they are going to require licenses for the big ones that can fly for many miles and more than 1,000' high. The little hobby ones will not require a license since they pose little danger to aircraft. I will be watching this to see what the ultimate ruls making is.

I agree with you that to register every drone would not be wise economically. I don't think anyone could have a legitimate excuse for flying a drone in air traffic space.
