Planned Parenthood Will Now Forgo Payment For Fetal Tissue

Well...Huh!

This is odd. I thought that Planned Parenthood assured us all that 'accepting reimbursement' for harvested baby body parts was perfectly okay.

If they truly believed that the money they were receiving was legitimate and that they were doing nothing wrong...then why stop?

Looks like they're caving to pressure to me.
Maybe those videos were having a greater effect on Planned Parenthood, than they or their supporters were originally willing to admit.

Tuesday it was reported that Planned Parenthood will no longer accept reimbursement for the harvesting of tissue from the remains of the hundreds of thousands children it aborts each year (327,653 abortions in 2013 alone, bringing in $164 million in revenue).

This is not altogether surprising, given the recent release of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials speaking callously about the “demand for livers,” the financial benefit of harvesting fully intact remains of unborn children, the techniques of “cutting through the face” to harvest intact brains, and the need to clearly label boxes shipped to companies containing completely intact unborn cadavers.

Planned Parenthood's decision is clearly an effort at damage control -- to preserve its carefully cultivated (and ferociously defended) image as merely a women's health care organization. More immediately, it is an obvious effort to try to push back against arguments that neither the federal government nor individual states should provide taxpayer dollars to support this billion-dollar behemoth that provides more abortions than any entity in the world (recently referred to pejoratively as the "Walmart of abortion" by another abortion provider).

Nobody was making money of dead babies, youd need to find some proof, and none was found, even after trying to defund them twice.

There is no way PP could maintain their position. Perception would be the key.

Yes we can argue the finer points all day long but in the end Joe American sees: PP provides dead fetus, PP accepts money.

Right or wrong, accurate or inaccurate, that's what it looks like to most people.

So they dont use the tax payers money to pay for the shipment cost, its already been answered , and the answer wont magicly change because you keep on asking.

Thats 2 times PP was investigated for the same allegations, nothing was found both times, but yea liberals love abortion to make profit of the bodies, thats the real story here lol.

Surprised you haven't brought up gun owners bankers and the rich.

They were getting money yes, in the legal matter as laid out for the fetal research.
Now if they were making profit is up for debate and haven't really seen much to show that they were.
No investigations have found any wrong doing and what everyone that is against PP is saying they are doing is clearly against the law.
So who is lying when they are found innocent but yet every one wants to say they are guilty....
