Nano-tech paint?

This article is dated 2002, has anyone kept up with this?

If you don't like to follow links : P , basically this paint can repair a tank while in combat from corrosion and other environmental effects.

Many smart coatings, as these are being labeled currently, are currently under development.

think of the ramifications if nanobots could be put into paint u could paint a tv onto the wall and take up less space lol!!!
