You chose to have these experiences to teach yourself that you actually do have to the power to change them.

Reality comes from within, If you think negative things will happen to you, the universe makes them happen. If you think positive things will happen to you, the universe will make positive things happen. You have to train your subconscious to think positive as well.

But yes everything that you experience is a lesson to be learned to help your consciousness evolve.

The lesson is that there aren't any lessons to learn. Or are you all THAT slow and brainwashed from all that "spiritual" gunk that you are unable to see the obvious?
