How about another reset with Russia, Hillary? Your last one worked so well.

My schedule changed and I was able to tune in to the debate. So far it seems that Sanders is the most pro-2nd amendment Dem so far.

Yeah but that can hurt him with Dem voters... I hope not.

Not really. Many Dems are pro 2nd or are indifferent.

What Sanders is doing is reaching out beyond the Dems to independents and disgruntled Republicans.

At leats Bernie understands how difficult it would be to get gun control through congress. The others arguing against him seem to just be going along with what their party wants to hear.

Surprised to see Webb is actually mostly pro-gun.

I can hardly stand this. It's like listening to my Mom and my Grandpa arguing politics at Thanksgiving. Need more wine.

Can't watch yet. Recording.

Reports of teleprompters from other boards on the opening remarks. Just checking.

He's looking like a President to me...awesome start Bernie !

Unfortunately, Sanders doesn't "look" presidential
and in a day and age when media rule, looks count.
He even sounds really old if one just listens to his voice
and while these things should not matter in a Kardashian
obsessed culture, they do matter.
He looks like someone who is close to, well, time for a nursing home.
That doesn't bode well, no matter how good he sounds.
Remember Nixon/Kennedy,
those who listened on the radio thought Nixon won,
but those who saw it on TV thought Kennedy won, and look who eventually took it.

As for looking Presidential,
O'Malley actually "looks" presidential
and even though that should not matter it does,
especially in our media hyped day when good looking
is thought to equal intelligent (even if it is not true).
Of all the men up there he "looks" the best
and unfortunately for our looks obsessed culture,
it means that he is Presidential material, even if he isn't.

Hillary, well she has bags under her eyes,
she looks really tired and worn out.
Even when she is giving "stink eye" which is not
a good strategy for looking Presidential.
She picked a blue suit with a white shirt
because research shows that a blue suit
with a white shirt and a regimental tie makes one look trustworthy.
(I had a colleague who researched this for a lawyers association.)
Through the years she has been big on
dressing for psychological reasons.
Remember the soft pink super feminine outfit she wore
when defending horn dog on TV? It was purposely designed
to make her look feminine and so appealing Bill wouldn't cheat on her, puke.

However, as many have pointed out
the suit may be the right colors but it is unstructured
which does give a sort of not quite put together look.
Her makeup is way to heavy, it may be "natural" type look,
but it is too dark and matte in contrast to her neck.

Since people say I look just like her, sad to say, for me.
Her haircut is not the most flattering for our face.
It is a "power cut" and strategically cut to look powerful.
But a bob looks much better on us and tends
to hide the wrinkles better and draws attention away from the chicken neck.

Jim Webb looks like a robot, like Hillary said she is in VF.
She was joking of course, but Webb could pass for one
with his body language.
