Taxing carbon does not help with climate change. It just raises revenue. The energy corporations can afford the tax. How does this change their output?

Listened to all the rhetoric from both parties so far. Like and hate many of the positions on both sides. Bernie and Trump for two on the extreme are okay even if different ends of the spectrum.

Final thought...We really need another party that allows no current robotic govt. insider to participate.

If the folks would stop arguing and get on with integrating proven alternative energy solutions, we would have been well on the way to going green...

The trouble is all the vultures who see it on terms of another green, as in the green to line wallets and a venue to life on easy street...

Instead of forking over half a billion to a failed solar venture, how many big city housing districts could have been powered by a solar array from that money?

I think it was MSU (Michigan State) who are developing solar energy producing skyscraper windows.... bet they could have used some of that wasted $$$ for their efforts...

The first attempts should be in the highest use areas.... cities... major cities...

It can be done, it should be done... the profit margin should not be the line that slows or prevents this...

Unless, it's not about helping the planet, but helping some conveniently positioned folks' portfolio...

/rant back to the debate

climate change over corruption in the gov or world war, or extremism, or debt, .........ffs were lost

To be fair, all of that will be irrelevant if we can no longer live on the planet.

To be fair, all of that could happen before we couldnt live on the planet

O'Malley, well he has great eye contact with the camera,
he knows how to look good on camera.

Webb, still robotic and stiff, no eye contact with
the camera, he has no chance just looking at his
body language, worse body language than anyone
else.

Sanders eye contact is not good with the camera either.

Why is this important? The voter is "within" the camera
not Cooper.

Hillary knows she needs to look in the camera, but
her eyes keep shifting around. Good for crowd
contact, bad for TV contact and connecting with people on TV.
She just can't stop wagging her finger at the American public.
It looks like she is lecturing "us" and that we "should" listen
to her, not positive body language.

I know some think body language is not important,
but it has been shown to make a huge difference
in the final outcome of an election in a day and
age where people worship Kardashains who do nothing
except flaunt their looks.
This may not be right, it isn't in my opinion, however,
it is the way it is in the US today.

I think the problem is that we are focused on mass generation and mass distribution of energy. Energy has to be produced by a corporation or government that is sold to the people. Why can't we perfect the technology and let people produce it on site?

Solar panels on every home, instead of a massive, expensive system that has to distribute. That means people will eventually be cut-off if they cannot pay.

It's frustrating when you agree with one persons fiscal policy, no ones foreign policy, a couple of peoples social reforms. This goes for people in both parties. I had high hopes for Bernie Sanders, but I am feeling discouraged. Vet's should have far more choices in healthcare no matter the distance from the local V.A.

Dear Hillary, please stop setting women back.

What is your training reading and deciphering body language?

You are saying all this stuff, just wondering how you would know all of it.

Why do we have to "wait to see what happens" to allow people to be free?

Drugs should not be illegal. We need to help addicts, not jail them.

For sure, but he may contemplate that after a discussion with Father Time...

He is of the aged, this is a last chance saloon for him without a doubt.

He may accept VP long term.

Hillary double talk... I don't want to legalize Marijuana. I don't think we should criminalize criminals who use it. Can't have it both ways. Either say you want to legalize it or not. (I am in full support of legalized Marijuana.)

a reply to: ManBehindTheMask Yes we can, IF we exempt small business and businesses that make under a certain amount of annual profit. When I say profit, that also includes the money not counted as profit because they used it to "reinvest" in their company *cough* walmart *cough*
