[..] and supporting Assad which the majority of Syria does not support, [..]

That's a false statement. It's impossible for anyone (a supposed dictator) to be in power for more than five years agaisnt is own people, internal (various) terrorists groups, ISIS and US and coalition bombings! And still having the support of his military!

Is that right? Are you sure that's an objective fact or just a subjective measure of how you think dictators ought to be?

The only one's who seem to be against Assad (including external forces) are the Sunni's and that doesn't give them any right, if the shia are in/are the power. Stop interfering in other countries!

Proxy's are being waged there is a Shiite element fighting Assad, albeit more of a minority.

2 mines?
I thought every terrorist, rebel, moderate, hard core, porn star and his dog were armed to the teeth by now.
2 mines , 1 on a sports field 1 thrown on a roof.
I reckon it was a drunk dude playing frisbee

yeah, that's right! It's my opinion! And anyone could use his head to think two minutes about this. Meanwhile you should proper your objective facts when you said: «supporting Assad which the majority of Syria does not support»

I guess that the situation in Syria has deteriorated up to a point where people fight by throwing whatever they can at the face of each other.
Assad was using so-called barrel-bombs with his airforce, now that the Russians resupplied him, we will probably see more efficiency with his remaining equipment.
Even the US resupplied the rebels recently.

War is all fun and games, setting at home and reading about it. It's a totally different thing when you get shot in the ass.

If my memory serves me right was not Russia there, (M E Afghanistan etc), during the 70s. They achieved nothing then and USA took over after they pulled out. The ME has been occupied for years and will continue to be until they submit. A thing they cannot do.
It is futile and is already breeding terrorists for the next 2-3 generations with all the victims created. We are not sorting the future for a terrorist free world creating a cesspit of future factions that have a need to be fought by someone.

Right on. Could you send us some snapshots of the fighting in Syria from your observational post/hiding spot? That would be great to have some first hand data here on the site.

Or did you just mean you've gotten pretty good at hiding from your mom when she wants you to go clean your room or do the dishes after dinner, and have no actual experience hiding in a warzone other than Call of Duty?
Come on, bro... keep it real... lets hear the truth now!

. I have spent the last 18 years of my life doing nothing but reading articles, Comments, posts and peoples opinions online. Watching the gruesome carnage videos people post. You can't begin to understand the effects that has on someone. The thing's i have seen, The thing's i have read, the things people do -

Instead of letting that turn you in to a hate filled, "I wanna see everyone die" type, you'd do well to remember that the average person who comments, is usually giving a knee jerk, low information comment. The believe what they're told, about pretty much everything and if a website or news channel doesn't give a point of view that aligns with theirs, they go to one that does. Most people barely have the common sense to tie their own shoes, why do you even listen to them?

Well, I could tell you about the story of my life, Hiding from my drunk drug addicted father who would take any opportunity to beat my ass, Including chasing me with shot gun on more then one occasion. Or about the running and hiding from the bullies that would fallow me home from school, Or sneak around my house at 3 in the morning looking to grab me while i slept as a "particle joke". Last time i check jokes dint involve there father's deer cleaning knives.

Or that time i got lost in Montreal when i was 13 and some fat # tried to rape my ass. however he was pretty easy to outrun, not much hiding involved. Oh, How about the time i was 19 and my drug dealing roommate got his face blown off in my apartment while i was taking a # in the bathroom, And hid in the ceiling by removing a ceiling tile until they were gone, and called the cops.

And just for clarity and what should be a pretty obvious reason, No i don't live with my mother. And call of duty sucks, Battlefield all the way.

That's inaccurate Russia has not made more head way, Russia should be preparing for a long drawn out war as the Middle East always is, and furthermore I'm not surprised they are being attacked as they are waging war and supporting Assad which the majority of Syria does not support, so they've taken a hardline position as opposed to the American position, which gives it the appearance of large headway.

Sorry to go off topic, but where is this nonsense that the majority of Syrians didn't/do not like assad come from?

I have seen similar non substantiated, contrary to reality claims from mr spad also.

I hear this a lot, and I am a little in the dark. Could you post a link to where the numbers come from that support this assertion of majority. Who is the majority of Syria. I believe that the government of Syria asked the Russians for AID in the form of military support against the factions who are actually waging the war in Syria.

You obviously like war because you have never been in it.........

I find this post highly immature, illogical, and honestly a little sociopathic........

Youre Canadian, be careful what you wish for, because it could land on your doorstep

As a man who has served many tours in the big sand box, seen the men blown to pieces, watched my friends die, had to kill people I didnt want to kill because they were going to kill me or my friends.....

You have no effing idea what the hell you are talking about, this isnt a video game

You can't begin to understand the effects that has on someone. The thing's i have seen, The thing's i have read, the things people do

You watch it all on a screen, you havent seen a damn thing, and stop blaming the world for your own twisted psyche

Life happens, the world is cruel, it always has been.......thats no excuse

The problem isnt the world, the problem is people have last their nerve, their spine, their gal, and the fortitude it takes to do the right thing instead of making excuses for their actions

i dont mean to be an insensitive jerk

But you cant blame your past for the way you act now, and use it as an excuse

There are literally hundreds of thousands of people who have been through what you have, and in some cases much worse

who CHOSE to do better, who CHOOSE to do great things and be great people, so the problem isnt external , its internal......

You CHOOSE, what to do with your life, you can sit around being an emo who blames the world

Or you can choose to rise despite your circumstances ,and do great and wonderful things.....

but dont blame the world, or the past because of the choices you make today

On Topic:

I believe this attack to probably be just the same thing as weve had here in the US and UK, when we entered the theater of war to kill terrorists, they struck back......

i see this as no different and should be expected

Is the United States government behind this embassy attack?

Was the embassy reduced to rubble? No? Then it wasn't the United States, was it?

Oh, you mean like the MH17 being shot out of the sky with a Russian ground to air missile that killed 298. Apart from no-one being killed in the embassy it would be like the pot calling the kettle black.
